Meadowlands Plaza Hotel

The hotel staff is so nice and helpful. The transportation to Secaucus area made our trip much easier. I didn't expect this level of service when I arrived; however, I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to travel to New York.

Well kept hotel, no sign of poor maintenance. Nice clean rooms, polite front desk staff were happy to help and had us checked in quickly. We were early but they accommodated us. Shower had everything I needed already there, shampoo, soap, lotion, etc. Lots of nice towels. Fridge and microwave and tv in the room.

First time here and it was very nice. Everyone was nice and the room was nice too. Shuttle service was very convenient. Highly recommend it. We definitely will be back.

Just stayed here for the second time, and both stays were very nice. The hotel is very conveniently located near the Secaucus Junction NJTransit train station, and the hotel operates a free shuttle van that will take you there until 11pm. The rooms are very nice: spacious, modern, and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and I recommend it to anyone who would like to stay in the NY metro area without breaking the bank!

The hotel is nice and the service is nice. The staff is very accommodating. The only thing I would rate low is breakfast because there are NO vegan options, so I normally eat somewhere else. At the most, I only eat potatoes if I eat there. The Christmas decorations are beautiful!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was extremely clean and the check-in was seamless. The room was extremely nice and big and even though I was overlooking a freeway it was extremely quiet. There was a hot breakfast in the morning with eggs, home fries, sausage, pancakes, cereal, toast/bagels & milk/juice/coffee. On my way out in the lobby they even had coffee to go in anthora cups. I was in the area for a volunteer gig and I will be back next year!

This hotel exceeded my expectations and I’m very particular about where I stay. I chose this location because of the close proximity to the American Dream Mall, the shuttle service, free breakfast and room service (although I didn’t utilize room service).

Every staff member that I encountered was wonderful. The restaurant was AMAZING! Delicious food and friendly service.

My room was by the elevator so it was a bit noisier than I would’ve liked but that’s on me since I forgot to request to be away from the elevator.

One suggestion I would like to make is to make the coffee/tea/hot cocoa available in the lobby all day, not just during breakfast hours.

Highly recommended! Can’t wait to return.

Other than giving only 1 key per room when 2 people are sharing it, I have no complaints at all. The rooms are very nice and clean. The beds are probably some of the most comfortable I've had on a trip.

We love this hotel, where we just were for the 3rd year in a row. It could not be any easier to book directly with the hotel, actually be able to contact someone via phone, and deal with its staff, all of which are polite, kind and extremely helpful. The included breakfast is a bonus, and the accessible in-and-out parking is a Godsend.

The rooms are cozy and offer anything one might need. The fridge, microwave, plugs inside the nightlamps for e-charging, even the bathroom fan are all items that are not always included in other facilities. And the location is perfect - easy access to autoroutes and NY, yet very quietly and peacefully located, and even within walking distance of stores and other restaurants. The Meadowlands restaurant is great as well.

I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on my yearly trip to New York

Ok so we just checked out today. I must say this hotel is amazing, kinda sad I didn't get to meet the famous Nick everyone talks about because he got a new job but Elis was just as cool, he was so nice. Melanie at the desk was the only one who smiled and welcomed me when I first met her, she was amazing. The whole hotel was super duper clean. The free buffet was really good. The free shuttle to the mall and back was awesome just be aware on concerts the location for pick up can be confusing, the drivers should of communicated better with us. But this hotel will always be the one we will go to from now now when we go to concerts. Just wish they had a shuttle to the Penn station. For anyone going to MetLife this hotel is a must.

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel is! The room was very comfortable and clean. Everyone we encountered working here was very nice. Dunkin was in walking distance as well as other restaurants and a liquor store.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff were friendly and housekeeping was active making sure the hotel was clean. Our room was fresh and clean on our arrival. I have stayed at other hotels post covid and this was never the case. I’m very happy with our stay, highly recommend! The beds were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was hot! Eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage, fruit, toast, pastries, coffee. They have it set up in their restaurant with linen tablecloths and real plates and forks. Waitstaff there to assist as needed, and also very attentive and friendly!! I Will definitely stay here again when in the area!

Tip- there is a cute Italian deli Natolis just a 7 min walk away, definitely check it out!!

Overall an excellent place to stay. The frontdesk customer service was excellent very friendly and knowledgeable. The free shuttle service was very fast and efficient. The restaurant hot breakfast was delicious, Eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, pancake, fruits. The fitness center is top notch. The beds are very confortable, Housekeeping staff left the rooms very clean. The housekeepers would bring up amenities whenever I needed them. The gift shop at the frontdesk is always well stocked with anything you might want. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I will be staying again.

Like most hotels, they suffer from staffing shortages, but they get you taken care of. Breakfast was good, standard hotel fare.
Beds were comfy, and front desk folks were helpful and pleasant.

I had an absolutely significant experience at Meadowlands Plaza Hotel with my grandchild for a reunion.

- The hotel is located in a wonderful area and has free parking. The interior was outstandingly elegant. However, the lobby could've been more clean. Furthermore, the elevator was a little dirty and smelt quite odd.
- The king banquet hall was extraordinarily clean and exquisite. My grandchild and their friend had to perform at the reunion and Nicole let them rehearse in another room. She was remarkably obliging and kind. :)
- The staff was outstandingly helpful, sweet, and the service was very fast. However, they didn't wear masks.
- Our room was fairly clean and had air conditioning, although the curtain opener was a bit dusty and sticky.
- Breakfast is free. There is a wide variety of delicious food and a few drinks.

I would undoubtedly recommend staying here or planning an event here!

If I could've given it more stars I would have!! It was a fantastic stay! Affordable, awesome free hot breakfast, super comfortable beds and clean rooms! The free shuttle is fast, friendly, and they even open the door for you! Could honestly probably use some new carpet and some better water pressure in the shower but I seriously couldn't be happier!! Staff was very friendly!

I've stayed in many hotels in the NY/NJ metro area and it is one of the only ones that has offered free parking/free breakfast/free shuttle all in one. The hotel looks a bit outdated in parts but it seems to be kept clean and well-maintained.
If you're going for an event at MetLife and take the shuttle back, expect you might have to wait when the entire hotel is probably trying to do the same thing. I had no problem with it but others seemed to have unreal expectations. If you need to be priority, then pay for a taxi or an Uber.
Overall, it's a pretty standard hotel. Nothing fancy but the staff is helpful and friendly and the proximity to MetLife is a big draw for me. I'd definitely stay here again for any events in the future.

Gorgeous Room interior and incredibly kind employees! Everything was easy to reach by foot or by bus! Only the noise of the ice cube machine alone disturbed a little

Getting to the point: it’s not a new, flashy hotel, but what it lacks in updates the staff makes up for in service. The amenities such as the shuttle to the train, free breakfast and gym makes this place worthwhile and a decent stop. The beds are so comfortable… had one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a while.
