John is great at what he does and always open and honest about the pricing. I had an unexpected accident with my car and he not only towed it for me, but he fixed it so it was back to new in no time. Great place to go for any car repair needs or even if you are shopping for a new car!!

John's the best mechanic I know! Smart, honest, and hard working. This guy makes me believe humanity has a chance.

I was introduce to him by a friend that, as a family, bought 4+ cars from this guy over many years, and never had a problem. With that much respect from a trusted friend I bought a Acura RSX 2002 from him in 2009, and it is still running like a dream in 2018! He buys salvaged cars and fixes them up real good, and sales them for a good price.

Recently in 10/2018 I went to Acura to get an inspection, and they told me I needed new "front struts/shocks", and "water pump" replacement. They also told me it'll cost over $1600... I was like that's BS!
I called John and told him about the problems, and he said he that "water pump" work is around $400, and "struts/shocks" is around $350. In advance he told me it'll take a few days so I left the car with him. A couple of days later he called me and told me there's nothing wrong with water pump, just needs new "serpentine belt" for like $90. That's honesty! And I save $300+.

With the money I saved I decided to get a pair of new tires since an old pair of mine are 8+ years and cracking. Got tires from TireRack, and they partner with PepBoys as an installer. Since I recently got new tires and shocks I thought it'll be good idea to get a wheel alignment as well (FYI - John doesn't do tires or wheel alignments). PepBoys told me that my "sway bar links" and "tie rod end" are going bad, and wanted to charge me $350 for it. I was like wait let me call my Mechanic John! I called John and asked if he inspected the "sway bar links" and "tie rod end", he did. John said they are fine, and PepBoys only goes by looks. I saved another $350!

Take away: John is an amazing local mechanic in the North Brunswick area. So good that I travel from Springfield NJ to go see him for auto repair. It cost's me $30 to uber to him one way, and I still come out saving more money in the end!
