Alte replaced our full roof recently. It was a very efficient and high quality job, which surprisingly only took one day. Their thorough cleanup of the yard resulted in only a single nail being found after the job was complete. We received amazing service from the start with their assessment process through completion and specifically from the project manager who found a way to brighten up my young daughter’s day following an epic meltdown on her part! It is the type of customer service you like to have on big a project like this!

I highly recommend Alte as a very professional organization. Based on the age of our roof, we were pretty sure we only needed a professional assessment and relatively minor repairs to shingles or flashing, and perhaps some changes to our gutter system. Alte listened to our concerns and arranged for one of their team to visit our property and evaluate our situation. They scheduled an appointment for a specific day and time, and arrived on time which is a pretty strong indication that this is a professional organization. There was no hedging about day/time or any excuses about running late. Based on the on-roof inspection, we received an estimate within 24 hours including a detailed description of the proposed work, photos to illustrate what would be done, and the price to complete the work. The price was not inexpensive, but was fair. We gave our approval and scheduled the job. Despite having to reschedule due to a conflict that arose for us, a new date was quickly arranged. The technician arrived on time, introduced himself, and got to work. We are pleased with how everything was handled and the quality of the work. I believe the reason Alte Exteriors, LLC handles things so well is that they run it like an actual business. There is someone in the office who takes your call and documents your concerns, schedules appointments, makes call-backs if needed and is an effective point-of-contact. The person who conducted the assessment and provided the estimate, and the technician who completed the work are different people with separate and distinct responsibilities. In our experience, all these individuals were professional, pleasant, and effective in their role. As homeowners we have dealt with many contractors, tradesmen, and companies over the years. Some of the owner-operated small businesses with only one employee are excellent, but many are stretched very thin, and scheduling and quality of work understandably suffers. Alte seems to have the right resources to professionally handle the work they take on. Recommended.

We want to give a big thank you to Alte Exteriors. It’s not everyday you get your roof done. Dan was more than patient with the many questions I had, since it was the first time for me having to replace one. We went back and forth with options and how to proceed the right way since the building was older and presented planning. Dan was more than accommodating scheduling the actual days the work would be done. This is my place of business and we have patrons coming in and out on a busy street. The work was done safe, timely, and clean when ended.
Part of the project was up for debate. Dan helped us visualize a black metal mansard for our storefront that was just perfect!

My roof had a tarp on it for a little over a year. I had about 5 roofers come take a look some where to high, some didn't seem like they care to do the job, some wanted to push a high credit on me which I couldn't do. it wasn't until I talked with Dan that I got that feeling of someone you could trust with your home. he explained the job process easily for me to understand and what would be done for clean up. when ever I had a question or concern he was only an email or call away. he answered quickly which put me at ease. This was the first major home repair I have had and he made it easy and pleasant. At the end of the job he even came back to do more clean up just to make sure it was spotless. you cant even tell there was work done its so clean. I will definitely be calling him back for the rest of my exterior jobs.

I recently had Dan and his crew out to do repairs on my roof. Not only were they on time, they were clean, professional, trustworthy, and fast! I called Dan in a panic because my roof was leaking and I am getting ready to sell my home. He came out quickly to check out the situation and scheduled me right away. Alte Exteriors was very responsive and detailed about their work. They explained each part of the roof that I had installed, what it was for, and why it was needed. They also had a great selection of color options if you wanted something a little more personal. On the day of the install they covered my yard and surroundings to minimize any damage to the property, helped ensure any needs I had were met, and used a magnetic sweep to pick up any potential nails that were left on the ground. The roofing crew did not mind me watching them install. They were able to finish the roof install in 1 day for my cape, which was very nice to not be in a state of renovation/construction for long. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who cares about a good quality roofing product and installation. I feel very confident in my roof especially with the warranty provided.

I have used Alte Exteriors for work on my old house and my current house, I could not picture using anyone else. Not only are they very professional, honest, and amazing to work with, their quality of work is so important to them and the finished product is top notch. What a pleasure to work with Dan Alte! From our first phone contact until our new roof was complete, Dan, Allie, and his entire crew were friendly and professional. The job was well done in a timely manner for the price contracted. Cleanup was beyond what I could reasonably expect. Dan"s crew even filled and seeded a small tire rut, left by a truck in my lawn, next to the driveway. I cannot recommend Alte highly enough. I would call only them if I needed further roof work.

The roof at our house was leaking. After 1 call, their representative came over in one day. It was determined that we needed a complete overhaul of our roof. They had a the job done quickly, neatly, and our problem has been resolved.

Great company, I would highly recommend! They originally came to give us a quote on our roof when we were negotiating with the, to put it nicely, ~difficult~ sellers of our current house. Throughout the whole process they were great and when they did the job, showed up with two days notice and finished the same day. Dan, Mike, and Allie are great!

We recently had Alte Exteriors put on a new roof and new skylights on our house, and the whole experience was fantastic. From the very first interaction, Dan was a pleasure to work with. He was very helpful with the ordering, the scheduling and the follow up once everything was done. The foremen Mike was such a great help showing us how to use all the new technology we had just purchased (solar powered skylights). All of the installers were courteous and polite, and cleaned up like they were never there. The entire project was done in one day, and I can say I am very happy with the result. We found Alte Exteriors reviews online, I think that goes without saying they are the top rated anywhere locally They sent out mike who evaluated the work. He sent out the proposal. I e-signed it. Work was done within a few days - great great experience all around. I hope all of the contractors I have to come in contact with in the future are half as good as Alte Exteriors
