Tomato & Basil NJ

Haven’t had pizza this good since my Brooklyn days! All the food is delicious, with a homemade flair. The square pie is a MUST try—I find myself actually craving it. Add to all this a super friendly staff and I’ve found a new favorite pizzeria.

Happy this opened here in Marlboro. Some quality pizza. The square slice reminded me of some I’ve had in Brooklyn. The crust is good and sauce is perfect. They definitely are using premium ingredients. The people who work there are friendly as well. Congrats on the new store keep it up.

Stopped in today to give Tomato and Basil a try .They make a DELICIOUS plain pie! The crust was perfect! No additional seasonings were needed. Hands down, the best pie I have had since living in Brooklyn , which was years and years ago. I also tried a slice of their margherita pie. OMG, the flavor was out of this world!
This is a family owned pizzeria with Brooklyn roots.
Nicky and Bianca treated me like family as I'm sure they treat all of their customers which is very refreshing.

First and foremost the food speaks for itself. Fresh ingredients and the layers of flavors! If I had to pick anything other than the T&B pizza it would be the chicken rolls or the homemade meatball sandwiches. You see the owner behind the counter and in the kitchen, morning, noon and night. You can see the love he has for his business with the flowers he plants on the patio and the engaging conversations with the guests. It's the kind of place you feel good about spending your hard earned money.

Great friendly staff complimented by amazing food . The pizza was perfect felt like I was in Brooklyn . The fried ravioli was to die for . Chicken park hero was one of the best I have had in a long time . Finished a great meal off with some uncle Louie gs ices kids were very happy .

Absolutely amazing food! The upside down pie from here is just as good as the famous L&B pie but about 45 minutes closer. I couldn’t be happier that Tomato and Basil opened up where it did with it’s incredible food and style. If you love Italian food I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. You won’t regret it!

Pete and family have a way of making you feel like you were the cousin they never had. Let's remember that the taste is incredible and full of impact, no what what you get. The key, though, is that Pete always nails the texture, mouth feel, and serving temperature. As someone that has a cat's tongue, the last bit is especially important. How many times have you ruined your dish by burning your tongue? Well, it's not happening here at Tomato & Basil. I challenge you to find a better place. Oh, and if you'd like a dish prepared a certain way, just ask Pete and he'll always deliver! 10/10, will always recommend. Oh, try their Sicilian, rolls, or hoagies. I realize now that I've never had a proper meatball sub until I tried it here.

My family and I love this place! From the wonderful, welcoming owners and staff to the phenomenal food, it is the best pizzeria hands down! Excellent pizza, delicious dinners and fun, family like atmosphere! Finally, a great local pizzeria in town! Thank you Tomato and Basil! We love you!!

times and the pizza is delicious. My husband and I have also had their
dinners which are also good. The staff
is very friendly and the owners are wonderful. Its a great place to eat.

I was blown away by how delicious the pizza was!! Cooked perfectly!! Not only was the pizza delicious but the staff was amazing! So warm and friendly. I will definitely be ordering from Tomato Basil!

I had my daughters first birthday party there. The food was great, the staff were excellent and the outdoor area was decorated beautifully. Everyone is extremely accommodating and treat you like family! They went above and beyond for my daughters birthday and can not thank them all enough!

This place is amazing. Brooklyn pizza at it's best! Delicious sauce, nice crispy crust. You can eat in the restaurant or outside in the sun or even in the back under a canopy. Can't wait to go back!

This place is under new management by Anthony Marino. Generally, you don't interact with the owner, but he was right in front with Bianca working hand-in-hand making pizza and calzones. I walked in and was immediately welcomed and made to feel welcomed, which doesn't happen very often no matter where you go. I'm sitting at the dinner table now with my wife devouring this pie like it's my last meal before the electric chair. If you can resist pulling over on the side of the road and stuffing your face just from the smell alone, you're definitely gonna enjoy this. We'll definitely be back. Best of luck to you, Anthony!

This was one of the best L & B pies I have ever tasted. The owner Antoinette made our entire family feel so welcome. Will definitely be back over and over again!!! I can’t wait to taste everything on their extensive menu.

I’ve been to Tomato & Basil many times. Their food has always exceeded my expectations! And the pizza has been the best I’ve tried within the 10 years of living in New Jersey by far.

Best pizza you can get in the area. The owners have Brooklyn roots, have been in the business for quite sometime, and have brought New York pizza to Jersey. Don’t waste you time anywhere else and support this incredible pizzeria!!!

I’ve lived in Morganville for 10 years. I just recently discovered Tomato & Basil. Their L&B Style Pie is definitely my favorite! The staff is outstanding and very friendly.

First time trying Tomato & Basil and the pizza was delicious. Family owned, and very friendly staff. Highly recommended, will be going back soon.

This pizzeria is the best tasting pizzeria in New Jersey hands down, every slice is amazing, rice ball is heaven, fresh baked rice balls are ausome - the gentleman behind the counter is a really nice guy i highly recommend tomato and basil - I’ll for sure be coming here often
