Nemo

After years of coming here and enjoying their delicious food, today, summer came early in spring, catching them off guard. The food took over an hour to arrive, but not once did they show signs of being overwhelmed or negative. They always maintained a positive attitude and a friendly smile. The food eventually came and, as always, was delicious!

Towards the end, the owner stopped by, was pleasant, and apologized for the delay, although it wasn’t necessary, as the food and service were, as always, spectacular.

This place is a staple in the central Jersey area and is a must-visit. The food is consistently good, and the service and genuineness of the staff are bar none! Oh, and by the way, it’s BYO.

Our favorite restaurant of all time! Great views, the best food, And even better owners and service! They treat everyone like family. It’s always a great time when we dine there. Take out is always fast too. Everything is always fresh and full of flavor. .

Really great sushi restaurant. Service is great. Food is delicious. They have many items to choose from. Fresh fish and even some Indian inspired items. They also have outdoor seating when it's nice out. Great little gem of Keyport.

We have been going to Nemo since it opened and have since moved to Florida 8 yrs ago. We visit the area 2x/yr and always make sure we have a delicious meal at Nemo. The food has remained the same, high quality since it's inception. We love meeting up with old friends and spend the evening enjoying freshest sushi and an all time favorite Hot Pot! They treated me well and the service was prompt , I like the ambience and the food was great too. Nice place to go out with friends and family. Its has a lovely patio with an ocean view.

My favorite Japanese restaurant BY FAR. I frequent Nemo roughly once a month and I’m always greeted with smiling faces and phenomenal food. Kudos to the chefs and wait staff. Everything is absolutely delicious, from appetizers to sushi to noodle dishes to desserts. Nemo never disappoints and I will forever be a loyal customer.

Ordered the salad and meso soup both where fresh and amazing. Then ordered the tropical row and was I surprised at just how big it was. Also ordered the snow ball row. It’s amazing.

The view amazing, food very good.👍 service was good but kind of slow because we were outside and I wanted to order more but they never came back until the check.

My wife and I and a friend from out of town (Northern California) had dinner on 17Aug2023. The township was having “Light By The Bay” festivities. We asked for outside seating and we’re quickly attended to. The atmosphere was festive and friendly.

The wait for food should have been longer. The restaurant was full. The township had a band in the gazebo below us and there were many, many people in attendance.

Inside Info: The calamari appetizer was out of this world good! OMG you gotta try it. Seriously.

The food was excellent as my wife ordered sushi and I ordered a hibachi meal. We eat in a comfortable atmosphere and enjoyed the evening.

I have nothing but high marks for this family owned business that serves great food and has excellent service.

We went to Nemo's and had an enjoyable experience sitting on the deck, overlooking the bay and a full moon was coming up. The atmosphere was a combination of romantic and fun.
We all shared a bunch of appetizers. An avacado and peanut roll, some steamed dumplings and chicken tempora. The dumplings are fresh and the tempora was standard. The avacado roll was exceptional. It was surprisingly good. Not that I was concerned but how exciting could this be. Go there, try it and see what you think. I loved it.
Each of us ordered something different and I tried a bit of everything. The sushi rolls are always fresh. We had the Philadelphia Roll, which is always weird but these had a crisp freshness and the smoothness of the creme cheese added something to the clean taste. The spicy tuna was incredibly fresh and SPICY. It was a nice spicy.
The other plate was fried rice and shrimp. The shrimp had a sweetness to it and combined with the rice, made a delicious meal. Not interesting but tasty.
The pad Thai with shrimp was bland. The person ordered it that way. It was tasty not spicy and the person enjoyed it. I like my Thai food on fire.
My meal was killer. The Thai Pineapple Shrimp Chicken Fried Rice. I got it hair on fire hot. If you like hot Thai food, this dish was awesome. The freshness of the pineapple cooled off the spices. The chicken was tender and the shrimp was sweet. The combo of flavors and the intense Thai heat, amazing. The dish always comes mild. I hate mild so I asked for hair on fire hot. I was not disappointed.
Go to Nemo's, enjoy the polite wait staff and the amazing food. It's our destination place from now on.

This is our favorite sushi spot. The outdoor patio that overlooks the bay has an amazing view. The sunsets here are the perfect date night spot. The food is always fresh, the flavors unique and delicious. The service is great. We love the family run small business vibe here. The owners are amazing people who really care about their business, their customers and their community. You always feel welcome and its nice to see lots of locals that frequent there. Nemos is a definitely a staple in town you don't want to miss. We have had a few larger parties 10+ people here and our guest always love and and have come back and brought their friends and family.

First time here, sushi was great! Special rolls were so good. They had a nice combo of different textures and flavors. The staff was very nice and attentive. Good atmosphere too the lights were dim and the music was relaxing kind of jazzy songs.

My first time here and enjoyed. Went for a quick lunch, ordered the spicy tuna roll with crunch and edamame. The food was great, super reasonably priced, quick service and beautiful water view. I highly recommend and will go back.

Great place for dinner or lunch. Outdoor dining in the summer. Fresh and flavorful dishes with quality ingredients. Fresh sushi as well, always 5 stars

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Nemo. Great outdoor seating overlooking the bay as well. We're vegan and they offered many dishes, in addition I wanted one of them with more vegetables and they totally accommodated us! They also didn't add anything to the bill, for two of us we both ate filling means and the total on the check was under $20! Extremely reasonable and a great overall experience, we will be back soon.
