The food is consistently good. So is the service. It’s very clean and prices are very reasonable.

Texas melt, Reuben, haddock and breaded pork sandwiches were all excellent. Nice fries too. Carrot cake was shared and enjoyed.

Food was delicious hamburger very juicy and tasted great also had the beer batter fish the fresh cut fries was awesome..great service 2 dinners soup and side salad 21.00 awesome value

We went to Chatterbox last evening after the town Christmas parade. I was very disappointed in the amount of fries my family & I got with our sandwiches. Otherwise time was good.

Went camping and decided to check out McConnelsville and get some food to go. This place was so good! I got a Rueben and onion rings (both were amazing) and my boyfriend got their special that day which was the porkchops with some kind of bbq sauce and sweet potato fries and a roll. He said it was the best porkchops he's ever had! The lady working was really nice and the portions were great and reasonably priced. This place did not disappoint, we will defiantly be back some day and hopefully eat inside when we don't have our puppers(:

Great little tavern! The owner Steve is a great guy and sever Stephanie is the best! Highly recommend! Everything on the menu is delicious, wide variety of beers and liquors, even great desserts.

The fries were wonderful, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere was clean and bright. It reminds me of the small bar in my home town, so it was very comforting. Thank you for the great experience!

Used to come here in the 1990s when my parents still had a boat, and was back in town for work today. The cheeseburger is still the bomb!

I went here with a buddy of mine for a late lunch after riding the back roads for a bit. I really wasn't expecting much. It was a small place, but very welcoming. I ordered the Reuben sandwich and some jalapeno caps. I love Reuben sandwiches, and this one was so delicious. I was bewildered that this little place had such wonderful corned beef and the saurkraut wasn't lacking either. The service was excellent. I don't think my glass was ever empty. The staff were very kind and polite. Overall, this Tavern is a great little gem.

Fantastic service- all food was at the waitress recommendation and was incredible. Best meal I've had in a while. Nothing fancy, but just good home cooking and generous portions. Steak was cooked perfectly as I asked. Food was hot and well seasoned. Tuxedo cake was ginormous- could've served 3 people! Prices extremely reasonable!! Highly recommend.
