Sweet Basil Thai Restaurant

Very good food and nice staff. We had the spring roll appetizer, Thai iced tea, panang curry w/ chicken and Thai Fried rice with beef. Everything was delicious and will definitely be back. Not many places seem to do panang curry well, but they do a great job here.

The spring rolls are also delicious. Been back several times now and have had a delicious meal each time.

The staff was extremely friendly and quick about orders. The food was very delicious and flavorful. I took my husband here for his birthday today. We are always looking for new food to enjoy. I did not regret this little birthday adventure! We will come back again some time soon. We ordered the vegetable dumplings, the spring roll, a Thai iced tea, a Thai iced coffee, the Massaman curry and the Pad Priaw Whan. Thank you so much !

My experience here was amazing as always, but I noticed on February 9 at 1 pm when a group of 18 came in and were taken care of very well as usual but after they were done, all they left behind was a ripped dollar as a tip. The audacity of these people to blatantly disrespect the staff like that after their hard work is beyond me. I felt bad for the staff who have to deal with these types of disrespectful people. All I ask is that everyone gives their staff the proper tip they deserve, thank you

This is some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I lived in NYC for 15 years and basically only ate Thai food. This beats all of the places there! And, friends who come to visit agree.

This place is a blessing, and it’s so random that it is in upstate NY, LIBERTY of all places. This woman is FROM Thailand, creating everything from scratch with her hands, including all the sauces and garnishes. She is a gift, and way too humble. If you like Thai food, this is real deal. You will not taste anything close to it for miles! Do yourself a favor: sit at one of her tables and get schooled in authentic Thai cooking.

One of the BEST Thai Resto I’ve ever tried by far in Sullivan County (Liberty, NY). I HIGHLY recommend this resto if you are craving Thai Food(s). Family owned business, cozy & very clean atmosphere. 😉👌🏼

I used to live in NYC for over 10 years and I’ve never had Thai food this great outside of Thailand. Mega tasty, authentic, and consistently delcious. The venue is also such a vibe, and the people are friendly, what more could you ask for. Get the Tom Kha coconut soup, the drunken noodles, the massaman curry, the mango sticky rice. A local GEM and favorite!

I've never had Thai food before but heard really good things about this place. The place is charming with lots of colorful adornments. I prefer a smaller menu because I equate it with fresh ingredients as opposed to frozen or canned. The waiter was friendly and offered me a sample of the Thai tea before I bought it, which was very nice. I got a stir-fry with pineapple and my Daughter got a pad Thai. My dish was light and fresh I opted for brown rice that was the perfect combination of sticky but not mushy. The pad Thai, however, was absolutely amazing! I ate half of my Daughter's dish. I'm so glad we took a shot at Thai food we will definitely go back.

You will not find better or more flavorful noodles, soups, & curries for hundreds of miles. The food at sweet basil is full of love 10 out of 10.

There aren't many vegan options in Parksville, NY, but Sweet Basil is one! Tofu pad Thai, vegetable dumplings, and coconut milk ice cream are all highly recommended.

Definitely a hidden gem in Liberty, NY. The SBT restaurant is a little hard to find and a little pricey but the food is great.

My boyfriend and I only get to have this in the summers, and we look forward to this friendly, yummy spot all winter long. The food never fails to be absolutely delicious! (Especially the spring rolls, nothing compares to those) and the staff, especially the owner (or who I think is the owner) always brings a smile to my face. We love it! 10/10!!

We were very pleasantly surprised with this restaurant, all the dishes were unique and scrumptious. This establishment was a non-pareil vessel of pure culturally rich euphoria.Furthermore, our waitress, Joy, was really kind and patient. She really embodied the meaning of her name ;).

*Fantastic* Thai dishes! Our entire group of 5 tried this awesome little place while road-tripping and we are definitely coming back asap. Great service, delicious flavors, generous but not too much portion size, flavorful and exactly the Thai restaurant you didn’t know you need to try pronto.
