Everyone at the Center for Dental Excellence is the most helpful group that anyone could ask for. Dr. Prus is the only dentist I will go to. Besides the fact that I know I am getting the best care possible when I'm there, the staff is quite honestly so lovely. I always feel comfortable asking any questions I have. Knowing we are making the best decisions for my health and knowing exactly what the process for it will be, are one the many reasons I continue to go here. They are wonderful professionals that have helped me so much throughout the years. Thank you for all that you do and for always trying to make my life easier. You are greatly appreciated.

Dr. Edward Prus and their team are absolute lifesavers for my dental health! After a decade with my previous dentist, who never seemed to notice or care about my gum health, I was fortunate to find Dr. Edward Prus in Hopewell Junction, NY.

From the very first visit, Dr. Prus took the time to thoroughly diagnose the severity of my gum issues, which my previous dentist had completely overlooked. Their expertise and attention to detail provided me with a clear understanding of the situation, and I shudder to think of what might have happened if I hadn't made the switch.

Dr. Edward J. Prus office is unbelievable. He is such a down to earth person and very knowledgeable. His staff is like one huge family. They make you feel right at home from the moment you open the door. You’re welcomed by Bernadette and Susie which are all smiles. Then when it’s time for your cleaning you get blessed by non other than Lisa! Her hands are god sent, she is just AWESOME! Dr. Prus has been my dentist for more than fourteen years. I have always found him to be highly knowledgeable and superbly skilled. He and his excellent staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely concerned with their patients’ health. I believe they are the best. Through the years, I have checked out other dentists whose offices were much closer to my home, but afterward, I never felt confident in the quality of care I was getting with them as I do with Dr. Prus.

Great dentist. I am so glad that I am going to Dr. Prus. He believes in improving and saving your teeth. He even teaches you how to care for your teeth properly at home, so they can continue to improve over time.
He is gentle and considerate. Many visits I did not need novacane. No pain.
His Hygienist are also great and gentle and do a fantastic job.
Dr. Prus also gets the job done. I don't feel like I am going to the dentist for the rest of my life.
Dr. Prus is your private dentist not a clinic, you see him all the time.
He is a true expert and easy to talk to and has a good sense of humor. The whole staff is polite and fun to talk with.

From my mother: Dr. Prus was my dentist for about 40 years. At first, I went to him in NYC from Westchester. When he moved to Hopewell Junction, I tried a couple of other dentists, but soon decided that it was worth the drive to see him. He does such good work, and he really seems to care about each. patient. When I had to go for a root canal, the dentist asked who had done the crowns i had, and expressed what an exceptional job had been done.

My only regret is that I can no longer see him due to my physical condition, which makes the trip impossible.

There's a reason I drive two hours to Dr. Prus for dental work. I recently visited a dentist in my new area who recommended a root canal and after going to Dr. Prus for a second opinion, he was able to fix the tooth with a much less invasive alternative.
Before going to Dr. Prus I had reservations about the dentist but ever since I started going here I no longer feel that way. Dr. Prus has a very extensive knowledge of dentistry and I've never felt any pain or discomfort during any procedure.
The office manager, Bernadette, makes the process from scheduling to billing seamless and always goes out of her way to help.
I've always had a great experience here and highly recommend the Center for Dental Excellence to everyone.

My family and I have been with this practice since 2010. Many people hate going to the dentist. Not the case for us we look forward to our appointments. The staff is so wonderful and caring we feel like we are going to see family. Dr. Prus is always very informative and clear in our dental care. Takes time to show us how to take care of our teeth properly. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been to about 8 dentists in my life, but Dr. Prus is the best dentist I ever had by far. He is so much more than just a dentist. Dr. Prus is an educator - He teaches his patients how to care for their teeth and gums using understandable terms and imagery. I was having issues with my gums and Dr. Prus taught me how to turn around my bleeding gums. Within just a few month, my gums now are perfect. I highly suggest that you stop looking for another dentist and make an appointment with the Center for Dental Excellence. The staff is caring, friendly, and truly cares about you.

Dr. Prus takes pride in his craft and truly cares about producing a superior product. I came to Dr. Prus a few years ago and presented him with an extremely challenging case. Not only did Dr. Prus create two front teeth that cosmetically were exceptional, but he did not compromise in terms of the structural integrity. Dr. Prus has made a tremendous difference in my life by restoring my smile. Recently, I had a dental emergency in which he made an office visit possible while implementing extreme safety precautions to eliminate any potential spread of the covid-19 virus. A true professional who I could not recommend more.

Went in with really bad gums and buildup, left with no buildup and within a day or so my gums were back to normal. Ivana is very professional and gentle on the gumline yet makes sure the oral cleanup is on point. Everyone here does a great job and Dr Prus is a dental genius. He breaks down dental and oral health to a T; I feel like I can apply the knowledge taught at home comfortably. It feels good knowing my oral health is better because of the Center for Dental Excellence. Highly recommended because you will see and feel the difference. Thank you.

Update 5/24/21***

Chipped my front tooth last night, reached out to Dr Prus’s emergency line and he couldn’t get me in fast enough even on his day off. The chipped tooth was front and center and you would never know it was damaged after my visit to Dr Prus. There should be more than 5 stars for doctors like this.

Dr Prus has been our family dentist since 2009. Carefully following Dr Prus recommendations for daily care and his skillful replacement of worn and poorly installed crowns has stabilized my moth to a point where cleanings are very fast and very little additional work is ever required. We spent many years relocating to different states across the country and this also involved many different dentists. I also went to a number of dentists who employed my sister as a hygienist. Dr Prus is hands down the finest dentist I have ever gone to. He is skilled technically and is a curious lifelong learner. My visits have gradually become as much a family like reunion as much as a dental appointment. I can't say enough good things about him.

Dr Prus and his caring, dedicated and professional staff are top notch. When he first diagnosed me with periodontal disease I was terrified. Dr Prus did research about new therapies and made me feel much more comfortable with dental care. It’s been a very long road but he saved my teeth, my sanity and my confidence. Dr Prus is an artist, and he worked a miracle on my front teeth. He and his staff came to my rescue when I was visiting my daughter. She and her husband and girls have been patients of Dr Prus for many years.
I was at my daughter's because my cancer had relapsed, and I needed continuing care at Sloan Kettering. I needed a repair on my top front teeth before I started my chemo. Dr Prus arranged his schedule to accommodate me, and I was a brand new patient! He worked tirelessly for a couple of hours or more…working straight through his lunch time. When his work was completed, he handed me a mirror. When I looked in that mirror and saw my front teeth, I was so amazed that I was actually in tears. In all my life I have never had such a beautiful smile!
Since I was facing a serious cancer protocol during the COVID pandemic, I was very cautious about my environment. I was extremely impressed with all of the COVID precautions and practices in Dr Prus' office.
Dr Prus created my amazing smile which gave me great confidence and joy as I started my cancer treatments.

Testimonial/Review: I grew up hating the dentist. Every one I went to either let me be in heavy pain or would hurt me. One time a dentist stuck the Novocaine needle in and started moving it in circular motions while injecting essentially shredding inside gums only to have to deal with the pain after. Another extracted a wisdom tooth and broke my moler in the process and then denied it and got away with it.
Dr. Prus and Avery one of his staff members, has changed all that. He is painless , and I mean that! Painless... I went to him with plack buildup, broken crown, tooth crowding and loads of pain. He in one visit made All my pain go away and had a two visit step set up to fix the crown. I just got home from my first visit in that step and felt the rest of the world should know how amazing this office is. Like I said He isn't the only talent in the office.
