The place was very family friendly, ice cream was delicious 😋 love my ice cream. The clam strip bucket needed more flavor, and the portion for the price was a loss.

There is a good sized parking lot to the left of the restaurant as you face it.

There is plenty of outdoor seating. The eating area tables are all nicely shaded with umbrellas and naturally as it gets later in the day. There is a barrier protecting the area from cars.

Hot dogs are reasonably priced.

The ice cream serving sizes are really big!

My mother loves a cherry dipped soft serve but has not fount it in California for many years. While she was visiting I was able to take her to this wonderful place and make her dreams come true.

I've been going here for decades, ever since I was a small kid. The consistently high quality along with quick friendly service has made Joe's a lifelong favorite. They can get crowded, but it's always worth the wait.

Best ice cream around. Not to sweet, not to creamy, and doesn't taste like custard. One of the few places that does take credit cards. Prices are good and if your order a large you get a large! Definitely worth the long line. On opening day in the fridge cold on March first an hour and half wait. See picture for proof.

Love Joe's! They have some coin operated rides that my kids love even without putting coins in. The food (read: burgers!!) are delicious and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere where everyone just seem happy! Who is not happy near ice cream?!

Stopped for ice cream late afternoon after a couple hours biking the Dutchess County Rail Trail. Quick service, accurate order, plenty of signage about social distancing and the space to do it! Will definitely visit again!

A roadside stand serving up freshly cooked roadside fare at reasonable prices. Wooden picnic tables provide a spot to dine.

Recent transplant to Dutchess County and I’ve driven by this place dozens of times while getting around town. Saw the place buzzing with customers each time and made a mental note to check it out soon. Doesn’t look like much but there’s a certain charm to it that sorta draws you in. Anyway, I finally went about a month ago while it was still chilly out and was immediately greeted by a friendly young lady at the window. Told her it was my first time there and that I was curious if there was anything particular that people came in for. She said people come for the burgers, so I ordered one with fries and asked for bacon on it as well. The burger did. not. miss. Grabbed my kids chicken tenders, fries and onion rings. The tenders looked like pretty standard fare but that burger brought me back for tonight’s dinner and it was still good, so I’m grateful for the consistency. Ice cream options were plentiful. I had the cookies and cream my first time out but today opted for the peanut butter s’mores topped with cake crunch because I was feeling a little dangerous. This is a really cool spot to just kick back on an early summer evening when it’s warm and the breeze is just right…🤌🏼 I’ll be coming back a bunch in the coming months. If you’re in the area and/or have been on the fence about going, do it.

I love this place. The food is great, a great price, and I'm so happy they're open year round now. My only complaint is that some of the younger staff would rather lie to customers than do their job. 5PM, Thursday February 9th, I was told they don't do chocolate dip for soft serve cones. There's photos of them and it's on the menu. I come here every week with friends and family, I love this place, but I hate being lied to. You should replace the young lady that's losing your customers and not very pleasant.

our lunch was excellent and so delicious !! the corn beef and sourkruat was so good with the fires and pickles my hot fudge sunday with dry walnuts was amazeing. ! thank you joes dairybar and Grill. ♥🙋‍♀

Always love a trip to Joe's. Best I've cream place around. I always prefer using the non franchised places to dine, as it feels more real.

The burgers were delicious as.was the chilli cheese fries

First time visiting and the Ice cream was awesome. I ate the Toasted Coconut flavor and I felt that every bite was full of Coconut definitely my favorite flavor. I hope to try out others as well! A true gem of a place. The "small" cup size is comparable to a large in many places. Very generous portion. When visiting the area it will be one of my staple places to go.

Great ice-cream place that has plenty of other summer snack and fried food choices. Hours are good. Parking and seating are mostly ample. The only real complaint would be the wait time on a hot summer day, especially during peak times; building can only handle so many orders at a time. Besides an easy wait, top notch place!

I have ordered from Joe’s several times and the food, ice cream and service has aways been top notch. My kids love going on the quarter rides, and my husband loves the glazed donut burgers. I also love that vegetarian options are available. I cannot recommend them enough.

Best ice cream EVER! The food is good too. Place is always packed and I can see why. Much deserved. Outdoor seating only. which is fine as it's still very welcoming. The ice cream cakes are delicious and the owners are super nice and accommodating. this place and the workers here ROCK!
