Associated Title is great! Doing a purchase here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on a for sale by owner and these guys made it happen! Friendly staff, and more importantly, knowledgeable of their trade. I'm from Florida, and it's so much more complicated there, or at least it is made to seem like it is! This is the worse title company I have ever used. They required all communication to go through the realtor and would not do a complete research on the land. The closing was postponed by months and the title company didn't complete their research or provide the complete title commitment to me as the owner until after attorneys got involved and we were going to a different title company. Even the closing wasn't smooth as they the charged for overnight air but then got notice that they changed the delivery date to 4 days later. Very poor communication and poor customer service. I would never use them again and wouldn't recommend them for any title work.

Shady!! Horrible communication and horrendous business practices. Find another title company.
