Doc's Rib Cage

First time visiting, and it's definitely off the beaten path... which isn't a bad thing. Prior to selecting this spot, I viewed their menu, which said Famous Ribs, or something to that effect. The ribs were really good, and they REALLY are fall off the bone ribs.
Personally, I prefer ribs that are pulled off the bone. But if I'm eating fall off the bone these are some of the best I've had. I also had some of their home fries....wow, they were delicious. I'll be back to try other offerings!

The Best Place in a Small Ghost Town. I saw more people in the bar than on the streets .Food was fresh and delicious. Service was great. Business was busy.

Great Service and the ribs were excellent

There is a sign posted that reads, they appreciate their patrons patience because they are short staffed. We still received great service in a very friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent and this was the best 🍹 Margarita I have ever enjoyed. I highly recommend this out of the way place, well worth the drive.

This place ages their steaks for a month and they are phenomenal! Their chicken wings are massive and they have a great selection of beer.

We had a party of 5 and they were pretty busy but they were very attentive. I ordered the ribs and they were cooked to perfection,I didn't love the BBQ but it was still good. Just not my taste. My wife had Mac and cheese with BBQ to pork on it and absolutely loved it.

This is very unassuming restaurant (more like a bar) had the best ribs we've ever had. Chicken chunks were good too.

Honestly one of the best bars I’ve ever been to. Whenever I’m in town I make my hosts take me here. All time great vibes with great drink prices. Can’t recommend enough!

Great food, awesome service, and fairly priced. Had frog legs and Mac and cheese with pulled pork. Nothing negative about this place. It's out of the way, but definitely worth the drive. We will be back.

Great down home cooking with affordable pricing!!!! A hidden gem in Tontogany. Best ribs and prime rib in the tri-county area. Awesome happy hour specials with a good special every night. You, your stomach and wallet will all leave full and very happy!!!! Stop on by.......... I'll definitely be back!!!!!

Best Rib Eye steak I've ever had. It's what brings me back and takes up the whole plate! My friend had chicken and rib combo and said it was pretty good. We tried the nachos with everything on it, but it was a bust for us. The cumin was overwhelming on it. I tried the cheese nachos another time and they were good with a generous amount of cheese. Mashed Potatoes are also very good.
I haven't tried other things on the menu because I always want the Rib Eye. Maybe I will order things to take home for later.

Docs is big time flavor and fun in a small town! I stopped in on my way through Ohio and was greatly surprised by the atmosphere and people on a simple Tuesday night. The bartender George, is absolutely hilarious and, knows his stuff when it comes to drinks. I ordered the burger that was topped with pulled pork, Mac&Cheese. One can always tell how good the food is by ordering a MidRare burger and let me tell you, the cook whomever she may be..nailed it. The burger was cooked to perfection, the pork was smokey and tender but still juicy and subtle, the mac&cheese was creamy but not runny and yet still full of gooey goodness. The wait staff was super friendly and knew how to handle the volume of business that was created by a "taco Tuesday." The place was jumping and Docs Rib Cage has a pool table and other forms of entertainment. Had I not been passing through I definitely would've stayed to shoot some pool, have more than the 2 perfectly suggested drinks and sampled more of the simple yet perfected menu. Docs Rib Cage is absolutely a 5 out of 5 star rating. Get the Columbus IPA and anything on the menu.

Great place for a get-together! We had a party of eighteen and they took care of us with no problem. Their staff is always great and the food is delicious! We always have a good time when we go there!

Great small town eatery! Staff was very friendly and professional. We were treated like family eventhough it was our first visit, but certainly not our last!!!!

Food was very good! Super nice people and good bang for the buck meal! Had a mushroom swiss double and side salad. Very tasty and filling. Will return for some ribs and more meals! Thanks!
