The Inns at 8th and Main

This is a great place to stay. From the very beginning my husband and I found this to be a welcoming and classy place. Amy did a great job of making us feel at home. Breakfasts were excellent. Beds were comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean and did not need repairs. We will be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Our stay with Amy and Dan met and exceeded our expectations for a small town bed and breakfast. From our warm greeting upon arrival and clear explanation of entering the Stone House to breakfast times, etc. made us feel like family.

Dietary restrictions are handled well and the homemade offerings we enjoyed for breakfast were very, very good. Woodwork throughout the house is worth a look at for those so interested and Amy's artistic touch for decorating the rooms is impressive.

We certainly plan on staying at the Inn's at 8th and Main in the future.

Best B & B ever! Dan and Amy were wonderful. They were never intrusive, but always available. Dan is the cook and made delicious breakfasts. They also asked about food allergies and food preferences. If you want a place to stay in McConnelsville, this is it!

We have been so happy to stay with Dan and Amy at the Inns. Their attention to detail and warmth make each stay extremely comfortable both physically and emotionally. Their space is expertly curated to create a cozy, home environment and it is the perfect home base after some exploring in the area or visiting family.

I stayed with my best friend this past weekend and we had such a great time! We stayed in the Miss Jane suite which was perfect for us. Every little touch makes the stay very memorable and comfortable. The breakfast was so so (insert 100 more so's) good. I'll be dreaming of their homemade yogurt until the next stay. The owners have great recommendations for things to do and are just such lovely humans!

We had a wonderful weekend at The Inns at 8th and Main! Our room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The breakfasts were delicious, and the hosts were extremely personable and knowledgeable of the area. Perfect place for a weekend getaway!

We visited the cute little town of Malta for a weekend & stayed at the cutest little bed & breakfast, The Inns at 8th & main. The host Dan & Amy are super welcoming & very easy to visit with. Breakfast was absolutely delicious & The Christie suite was an amazing place to room. Super cute & up to date. We will definitely visit again!

Charming inn in heart of McConnelsville. The rooms are spacious and elegant. The owners are super friendly and non-assuming. Breakfast was provided and it was outstanding. If you are ever in this area (perhaps visiting The Wilds), stay here! You will not be disappointed.

We've stayed as a family at the Inn many times and we always enjoy the warmth, hospitality of Amy and Dan, and the local area. Check out the relaxing opportunity and local fun at the Opera House, Old Bridge Brewing, or River Valley Social. Breakfast is always delicious!! See you again soon 🙂

My best friend and I stayed at The Inns for an impromptu weekend away to relax after the holidays and relax is exactly what we did! The entire inn is gorgeously decorated. We felt welcomed as soon as we met Dan and Amy. Do yourself a favor and book a weekend at The Inns! Dessert for breakfast, a charming Appalachian town, and a lovely lavender farm around the corner are waiting for you!

While I have not personally stayed at The Inns at 8th and Main, we were recently treated to a private tour. And it was stunning! The owners have done a spectacular job of creating a quiet retreat in the middle of our small town. I can't wait to book a night away!

We were treated like family houseguests. We stayed in The Margret Suite. This was a spacious 2 bedroom suite. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our breakfast was a different homemade feast every morning. Amy and Dan were super accommodating. I highly recommend this as a home away from home when traveling. We definitely will be back.

This was our 2nd time staying at the The Inns at 8th and Main. It is the perfect place for us to stay when visiting with our family. Their location is also perfect for walking around town to visit the many shops, restaurants and the brewery. The breakfasts are amazing. I don't know of a thing that Amy and Dan could do to make our stay any better. It definitely feels like you are staying with family. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Amy and Dan are wonderful host! Our stay was excellent! Breakfast waffles with apples from the local Apple Orchard were amazing. They have been meticulous in renovating this beautiful home and kept all the historical elements. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed at the Inns at 8th and Main this past weekend; we traveled to McConnelsville from Mid-Michigan for Heritage Days. Dan and Amy were nothing but kind, generous, and gracious. The Inn itself is incredibly cute, quaint, elegant, and charming. We loved the spacious rooms, comfortable bathrobes, and luxurious bed sheets; the room and house decor were executed beautifully, as well. Amy and Dan left a personalized note and snacks/chocolate in the room upon arrival, which was a nice touch and greatly appreciated.

The breakfast served in the morning was delightful; the Eggs Benedict, cucumber salad, dessert (served first), and sausage was delicious!

We absolutely loved our stay here! If we are ever in the area again, we will be sure to stay here again! Thank you, Dan and Amy! Also, a special thank you goes out to the Morgan County Visitor’s Center for their kindness and hospitality, as well!

Amy and Dan are the niciest people. Their hospitality was outstanding. Our room was amazing. Dan made us our biscuits and gravy with homefries. Well done Dan. Comfy bed and charming home. I love this bed and breakfast. I travel for business and when I stay here Amy and Dan the owners take great care of me every time. If you need anything they will always take care of your needs and the breakfast is the best. Great owners and great place!

This place nails the "bed" and the "breakfast." Really enjoyed our recent stay. Our room - the Eberlein - was large and peaceful with high ceilings. Nice mix of historic construction and modern conveniences. Super comfy king bed helped us get a good night's rest. The bathroom was next door but private for us. The homemade breakfast was among the best we've ever had. Great hosts who were very courteous and helpful while still respecting our privacy.

My wife and I absolutely LOVE the Inns at 8th and Main. The first time we stayed there, we were in love with the place. Dan and Amy are incredible hosts. The breakfasts have always been very tasty. The rooms are spacious, clean, and extremely cute. We stayed in the Christie suite this past trip, and it was the perfect place for us to rest up and get ready for the wedding we were in town for. Right in the heart of McConnelsville, it's a short walk to all the stuff in town you could need. We booked a s'mores package on this trip as well, and enjoyed a precious fireside hangout in the evening. They truly go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. They'll be seeing a lot of us in the future!

The house is lovely and Amy and Dan are wonderful hosts. Our room was so comfortable and we had lots of privacy, with our own entrance and nice big bathroom. It was fun to walk around town and from the Inn we were able to walk to the brewery for a nice dinner. We look forward to coming back!
