Konnichiwa Japanese Steak House & Sushi

I was here in London, OH a couple weeks ago and was looking for food joints and didn’t see this restaurant then. I was actually looking for pizza.

Stumbled across both places (Domino’s and Japanese) this time ironically. With no hesitation found out where they were located and Hours of Operation and made my way.

The gentleman (owner) few moments before shift change greeted me and offered options for me. I’m a pretty big guy with a real appetite and he suggested the Scallop w/crab tuna roll and it was amazing. And check this: that was a new roll for me. 10/10 highly recommend. As you see also, I paired it with a Sapporo Beer. Such a taste bud accommodation.

The tofu bowl here was the unexpected hit for my vegetarian spouse, while the sushi rolls were good value. The service was polite and fast. We got our order to go, and didn’t wait long. I noticed a nice beer selection. It’s good to know you can get sushi in London, where the food selection is both apt (great Mexican, and we like Burger King) and limited (a bit hung between Columbus and Dayton).

Amazing food. The Sushi is on point. Amazing fried rice and rice bowls. Steak was cooked perfectly. Friendly service. Great price on food.

We got the sushi and ramen and kani pockets (Crab Rangoon). The kani pockets were so full of food and tasted so good. And all of the sushi rolls, we had 4 of their specialty rolls and they were phenomenal. The ramen was one of the better places we have ever had of all the places we have gone to in Ohio. For the price, and the amount of food you get it is surely worth it. Our server was very friendly as well. We will for sure come back!

I enjoyed the best Bento box ever. Everything was freshly done and exceptionally tasty. The well done steak was mostly tender and juicy but next time I'll request medium rare. I orders a Reidville roll too and it was the best Sushi I've had in quite some time. I highly recommend a visit to Konnichiwa.

I've been all over ohio but this is EASILY hands down the best asian restaurant ive ever had and on the state of ohio!

Food was delicious. They had really good sushi roll combinations I had not had before. Handled a hibachi order with a gluten allergy very well without a problem. The ambience is checker tiles from when the space was a grinders restaurant, but the prices were reasonable to inexpensive for sushi and hibachi.

Consistenty good food and wonderful service! Large portion sizes, my picky family members always enjoy their dishes. I like trying different rolls when I go. Just tried the Hwy 9 Roll pictured, and it was delicious- wonderful blend of flavors, super enjoyable. Highly recommend trying it if you haven't had the chance yet!

First class rate food. We love eating here.. How can you resist that?

Don't get to London often. Just found this place. Very friendly, good food, quick service. A nice option to the dining choices. Definitely be back!

Wonderful little place. Prices are low, staff is great, portions are incredible and the dishes me and my husband have ordered have all been fantastic.

Konnichiwa London is a wonderful restaurant with fresh ingredients quickly prepared to order in a spotlessly clean tastefully decorated modern environment.

They feature “Asian” dishes with flavors from Japan, Korea and China. Numerous appetizers are available.

We had their Sesame Chicken and Korean Beef Bulgogi. Both dishes were beautifully presented on a bed of flavorful rice. The meats were absolutely beautifully done. Nice prime quality, tender and served in generous portions.

The wait-staff were very attentive and kind, even offering a gratis to-go soft drink after our meal. You do not have to wait in line to settle your tab, it is done table-side with printed receipt if you wish.

As of this date, 2-21-22 they are still awaiting their liquor permit, so hot sake will be in their future. For now tasty teas and soft-drinks are available.

I recommend you stop in and enjoy some wonderful food at reasonable prices!

I just have to say, I have been to many sushi places in the past, including the short north and high scale restaurants and this place is just amazing. Melt in your mouth sushi, amazing hibachi bowls. Exceptional service, the owner takes GREAT pride in his food and service

Great food! The best sesame chicken and a giant portion

This place has really great sushi and food! The Ramen, Sushi and Kani pockets are some of the best I've had. This place has much better priced and quality food than you get in Columbus and is well worth the drive. It is a small diner type of setting but the food is on point. Staff is very friendly as well.

Wonderful food and extremely friendly staff. You get a TON of food for reasonable price.

Went on a late Monday evening, server was warm and inviting... got a booth right away and our tea came in big cups (none of us ran out), we ordered Chicken Hibachi and got the Sesame Chicken bowl for my daughter. The chicken in the bowl was amazing! The music was nice playing in the background and for the taste and portions you get, the prices were on point!! Cheapest I’ve seen at a Hibachi, you won’t even miss them cooking it in front of you. Highly recommend!

The food here is awesome. I wish I knew of this place sooner. I ate inside. The waiter was very friendly.

I have been here twice and have enjoyed it both times while trying different dishes. The service was excellent and attentive both times and the food was prepared well and fast. I was there for lunch time so I appreciate their ability to serve their customers quickly with quality food. The dishes have all been excellent. Last time I tried their ramen bowl and thoroughly enjoyed that! I don't have a lot of experience with sushi so while I thought it was quite good, I can't say it is better than other places. I will say that their wasabi had quite the kick compared to other I have had! I would recommend this as a place to stop whether you are just passing through, need a quick lunch, or a nice dinner to eat or or to go.
