Condesa Restaurante Mexicano Warwick

Friday , May 10th 2024 —-In a picturesque corner plaza in W. Warwick , my husband and I decided to visit a restaurant we hadn't seen in years. The last time we were there, it was a different place, but now, after a renovation, it looked cozier and more modern. My husband, a discerning coffee lover, tried a cup and, to my surprise, remarked, "This is good coffee ." He rarely says that about any place. Unfortunately, they don’t serve decaf, so I couldn’t try . I smelled it and it smelled good .

We were promptly and kindly attended to, making us feel right at home. The menu was varied, and I was delighted to see they had vegan options. My husband usually opts for the vegan options .

During lunch, we noticed a military man dining with someone else. It was heartwarming to see the owner walk up to him, offer him something , and thank him for his service.

At the end of our meal, satisfied and smiling, we knew we would return. The warmth of the place and the quality of my husband's coffee ensured this visit would remain in our memories for a long time

I drive by this place all the time but it was the first time eating here. This was, by far, the best meal I've had!
We didn't have reservations. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated on a Saturday night.
Once seated, the service was great! Food came quickly and I ate it even faster.
Dinner, drinks and dessert were all fantastic!

Great place to have some good Mexican food and drinks. The staff is very nice and friendly. The drinks are very good also. Great variety of Tequila mixed drinks and winer and beer and others. The menu is very extensive, you can even find vegetarian options and gluten free.

Everything was great! We ordered the ceviche (which was super fresh - slightly spicy), guacamole, enchiladas mole, shrimp tequila tacos and a Don Margarita. All the food came out so fast and chips and salsa were brought over right when we sat down which is always a bonus! Highly recommend!

They are one of better Mexican places in the area. The food is a little pricey, but your do get great quality and selection. Especially for gluten free and vegetarian options, they even have cactus dishes which a rare find for Mexican food in the area. We have dined here a few times and the service has been spectacular even when busy. L

We had the BEST meal since we came to RI. The service was perfection. We sat at the bar and received an impromptu alcohol expirence. Staff was knowledgeable amd freely shared their passion for their work. This family owned business is now our go to recommendation for appropriately priced food and cocktails that are delicious!! The bar was stocked with unique options that were used to make drinks that were worth the trip up from DC.

Always an amazing experience! Love the fish tacos and can't beat the margaritas. Definitely one place I will Always come back to.

Really good Mexican Food. They are offering multiple clear labeled vegan and gluten-free options. We had the veggie enchiladas and birria tacos which both were good.

Absolutely amazing service, authentic and delicious food and great margaritas! Birria tacos are a must! This place is a hidden gem and my new favorite Mexican restaurant!

Food here is always delicious. Drinks are as well. Waitstaff is pleasant, courteous, and attentive. Portions are HUGE. California Burrito is the largest ever. Pumpkin margarita was delicious! Watermelon aqua fresca (alcoholic) is so good with delicious fresh watermelon flavor. Chips and salsa also delicious. Plenty of parking as it is in a plaza

This place is bomb. Incredibly good Mexican food absolutely packed with flavor. Drinks are tasty and creative. Friendly and fast service.

I had a great experience coming here for the first time. The service was perfect. I didn't catch the waiters name but this was on July 26th at 4:00 and he was the older guy out of the two waiters. His timing for asking what we would like to order and ask us how the food was after we had a couple bites, was perfect. Finally a salsa that isn't all water, that salsa was amazing. The street corn was phenomenal and full of flavor. The cabo burrito was so good, the ingredients were very fresh, cooked perfectly, nice portion size for a big eater, temperature was great, and I would order it again. Jalisco Smash was a very good drink with great flavor and they don't skimp on the alcohol, but yet it's still drinkable.

Eli was amazing! He really made our dining experience special. He was so attentive and friendly, and he had great recommendations from the menu. We felt really taken care of by him. Can't wait to come back and have Eli as our waiter again!

The atmosphere was great here. However, I thought the drinks were a little pricey, and the food was a little underwhelming for what this place looks like.

I've been here only a handful of times, but every single time is consistently amazing. The food, service, and pretty much everything about it is phenomenal! The restaurant is clean and neat. The staff is fun and extremely attentive. The churros and homemade ice cream are excellent, I highly recommend coming here!!
Update: I have now been here a few dozen times and can attest that the service and food are still consistent and top-notch!

As amazing as the last time! Sat at the bar and had dinner. The spicy shrimp was outstanding. The bartenders were super friendly and made the tastiest skinny Margarita 🍹 Till next time

Condesa is above all expectations for authentic Mexican cuisine! The hosts are warm and welcoming, the wait staff is attentive and polite, the prices are reasonable and the food is beyond delicious! We love the atmosphere and frequent the West Warwick location at least once a week.
A must try!!

outstanding!! ive been to a lot of mexican/sw style restaurants over the years and condesa is number 1.
the tamarind drink was excellent, the flavors in all the food were beautifully crafted. ive been here twice so far i had the molcajete it was amazing, served in a special volcanic dish its a must try. tons of fresh ingredients, also had the tequila tacos, enchiladas mole. excellent, we will be back to try more!

went here again today and tried spicy condesa drink and the salads with mango guajillo chipotle and salmon perfect yooooo!!!

Second time here and we love this place. Great food! Really high quality Mexican food. Our 18 month old also really enjoyed their quesadillas. Fast and friendly service. For the parents w littles, they even have a proper changing table and nice high chairs for kiddos to also enjoy their visit.

Party of four. We all enjoyed our meals: fajitas, garlic shrimp, taco salad, burrito. They were accommodating to tweaks to the menu items. The chips, salsa and guacamole all were fresh and very tasty! The margaritas were awesome. The service was professional. We did not feel rushed but at end we received subtle polite cues
that it was time to vacate the booth. (People were waiting for a table so completely understandable!)
