The Island Grille

Exceptional dinner this evening at Fusion 386 Dining. The atmosphere was inviting, service was excellent. We enjoyed lobster ravioli and the best french onion soup we’ve ever had. Our filet was cooked perfect. Enjoyed our date night, very much.

Just had a lovely evening here with friends. Everyone ordered a different entree and we all agreed that the food was amazing! I had the juicy tomahawk pork chop with perfectly prepared veges. Very impressed with the quality and variety of the food on the menu, all freshly prepared, served in a relaxing atmosphere. Bartender recommended a raspberry martini that I am still dreaming about. This is a must visit restaurant!!

(Edited to add: since our review below, new owners took over and have changed the name from Island Grille and it looks like completely changed the menu, so I’m not sure how this review will compare to the new menu.)
Always a great experience. The food is delicious and varied and the staff is always attentive. I think one of the best places in the Flagler Beach/Palm Coast area. When the weather is nice they have a cute veranda to dine on. The only “downside” is the location attached to and in an old motel parking lot. I guess technically it’s the motel’s restaurant which is strange because the food here is not motel priced or what you’d expect for a motel. It’s definitely a fine dining experience with prices to match. Inside, however, it’s got a cute ambience in what looks like the motels former lobby. It’s kind of an old Florida vibe with modern upscale dishes. Highly recommend.

I dined there last Saturday night & really enjoyed the food, atmosphere & being across from the ocean. First off, they take reservations which was great because we had a group of 8 friends. We were seated quickly & greeted by our server, Michael. My husband & I shared one of the specials, the seared tuna nachos appetizer, which was delicious & generously portioned. For our entrees, we had the seared scallops penne vodka, which also listed a gluten-free version, and the stir fry with chicken. They have several other gluten free options on their menu, too. Both entrees exceeded expectations & were nicely seasoned with lots of fresh flavors. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals & the friendly service. Looking forward to visiting again!

Delicious, fresh and uniquely prepared dishes - not the typical “beach fare” you get everywhere else nearby. Even the appetizers - I could’ve eaten about 20 more smoked salmon egg rolls!

The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, including the chef owner.

What a great view! It was so hot out but we still had to sit outside to see the beautiful ocean. Our food was amazing. We had the pork dumplings as an appetizer. Served with a sweet and spicy sauce. Mom had the chicken Alfredo on penne pasta with Gorgonzola cheese. I had the grilled ribeye cooked to perfection served with mashed potatoes and veggies consisting of zucchini, squash, carrots, cauliflower and onions. Yummy! Mom also loved the Raspberry Long Island Tea.

As this was my first visit to Florida , I was fortunate to have Maria serving me. My tuna nacho salad was great and a full meal. I'm a big guy and was not dissapointed. Not only was her service beyond expectations but her local and state knowledge was so greatly welcomed. For travelers, having someone local to assist you is priceless! Celebrated 2 separate dear friends birthdays here! Everything about it was wonderful, elevated food and drinks, great service! Best of all, the view! Add it to your list of places to visit in Flagler Beach!

Quaint quiet local fare where my wife and I had a meal that was simply delicious. It seemed more like a home cooked meal. We both ordered their halibut special, mine was blackened my wife's grilled. Served with a flavorful basmati rice and a sautéed vegetable medley.

The service was attentive and the staff were very friendly. Our meal with tip was a little more than we normally spend when dining out (about$60 w/tip), but if you're familiar with halibut it's not on very many seafood menu's.

I loved the small collection of collectibles in the dining area and adjacent room. The building itself has a fair amount of history behind it dating back to the 1920's which I was unaware of. We will definitely return again.

I highly recommend this restraunt. The Wasabi Salmon was outstanding, so moist and just a touch of Wasabi to add delicious flavor. My husband had the spare ribs, which were also very favorable and delicious. The owner, Scott Newcomer, checked on every table to ensure they were satisfied with their food and having a good time. Great employees, food, and pleasant atmosphere all made for a wonderful night out with friends!

I absolutely LOVE this place! The food was fabulous and they have the best key lime pie I've ever tasted. The employees were nice and helpful and I will definitely be back! If you visit, make sure you try the scallop sliders, they were amazing!

Outstanding service and the food was fantastic. Had the short ribs and Gorgonzola chicken pasta. Both were memorable meals. All fresh and made from scratch. The short ribs were the best I’ve had. They have half and full choices for a few entrees. The half was plenty with an appetizer or starter.

What a nice place in a historic building. The food was wonderful, including the birthday cake they baked for the occasion. Really enjoyed looking at the antique toys. It's funny because I had a similar toy train. Guess I am antique, too. We had a large party and our wait staff was excellent. We will be back.

Suggestion to the new owners, change out the photo with the plastic cups. Your place is much more upscale than that.

For us, Island Grille is a date night must! If we’re in town on Wednesday night, our friends and family know where to find us. We’ve been going there on Wednesday nights for over two years. The food is superb, the service is exceptional, and the views can’t be beat. It’s a five-star restaurant to us. ♥

A little hidden gem on Flagler Beach please do not miss the Island Grill when you are dining at Flagler Beach. I had the mahi special with a wasabi aioli sauce and the shrimp and scallops with rice and vegetables. The bartender is also amazing. The old fashioned was fantastic perfect for taking the edge off a long work week.

Everything was perfect! From the ocean view, to Mike our server, to Scott the owner. We were welcomed with open arms, treated and fed like kings! Will recommend the Island Grille to all my Island Estates neighbors!

Island Grille is one of the must visit restaurants at Flagler. Their food is lip smacking the shrimp and scallop thai is beautiful. Quaint place where you can enjoy with family and friends
New owners are very friendly and helpful

Love the food here. It's quite a find. Small menu but it's all good. We've been stopping by here off and on for years. Never been disappointed with our food choices and quality of the food.
