The Golden Lion Cafe

First time visiting the Golden Lion..it was on my radar and noticed on a sunny beach drive so we decided to stop. It did not disappoint. Great views, friendly staff and tasty food. We opted to share the coconut shrimp appetizer and the fish and chips entree. It was more than enough plus nice and crisp alo g with the fries. Saved some room for the key lime pie. Worth the drive to check them out and enjoy some nice views!

Great experience tonight!! Sat on the upper deck, beautiful view of the ocean. Pretty busy, but STILL got seated right away!! Andy the waiter was there in seconds, very attentive and then food was awesome 👍. Great experience, will be back for certain, and I hope we get Andy again!!!

Golden Lion should be a staple if you’re a local and a must stop if you’re traveling! My dad lives here and my husband and I visit about twice a year; we always go to Golden Lion, and have never been disappointed!! Service is great, food is fresh & fast, drinks are never empty! What more could you ask for? On this visit I opted for the Fresh Catch & Coconut Shrimp tacos. Loved them. My husband opted for the jerk chicken wings & said they were some of the best wings he’s had anywhere. We also did the 1/2 order of steamed oysters. They gave us Hoosier PLENTY of horseradish-so nice we didn’t have to ask for more! We will always return!!

Went here to celebrate a birthday. This place has a wonderful view of the ocean. I recommend sitting on the roof. It's got decent drinks at decent prices. The food portions here are huge and the waitress that tended my table was very kind. She also got our birthday celebrant some delicious key lime pie. I can see myself returning here for more drinks and trying other items on the menu.

Great time with friends. Bar staff was excellent. Although busy they were very attentive. Food was good and hot. We had thr cheese steak and the famous fish and chips which were both good.

One of the coolest resturants we've been to in the area. The food was amazing as well! The Soy Ginger Mahi is highly recommended. I normally don't like rice for a side but theirs was really good. Thanks to Christophe for the awesome service!

AWSOME!! Just ate lunch and had fish tacos and coconut shrimp tacos. The Mudslide was so good I downed it before getting a picture!😆 enjoy the breeze off the ocean across the street. A great treat for this Tennessee girl!

Mahi BLT and fish tacos. Can't go wrong. Waiter was kind and fun to talk too. Atmosphere was comfortable and a lot of people were having fun there.

Amazing view of the water while dining out. Their fish and chips are always on point and definitely shareable. Live entertainment daily and a great view of the ocean, even on dreary days.

We went on a Sat around 5, 45 min wait for a table so we sat at the Bar. Rum punch was good. Mini Nachos were perfect. Fish fingers were a little skinny but had a good taste. Even being inside we could still hear the live music.

Fun ambience, food wasnt bad, had a great time. Waitress was great, attentive, helpful.

Loved the Caribbean wings, fish tacos and calamari. Had the award winning fish and chips. I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for cause I seldom eat this dish. But I will say the fish was huge, decent flavor, beer batter was nice and crunchy and the fries weren't bad. Seasoned well and double cooked it seemed.

Great spot by the water, easy parking and access. 100% beach feel!

The view from up stairs of the beach was great,outdoor seating,live music downstairs, happy hour for oysters 3-6 I loved the oysters and ceviche. A little bit of everything thing on the menu if you don't like seafood. The ambiance was perfect.

This place is absolutely awesome. Right on the beach with great food and customer service. I've been here 5 times in the last month. The Mother's Day (Salmon and Asparagus) meal should be placed on the menu permanently 😋

Was a great surprise on the first night in town. Tuesday was an awesome waitress! Live music from a solo guitar player with a great sound. The food was beyond delicious and filling! The blackened salmon and ginger soy Mahi Mahi are to die for. If you're in this area, give it a shot. You will not be disappointed.

This was a meetup lunch for my elementary through high school class of a couple who live near our hometown and those of us who retired a short distance from Flagler Beach. It was a great hit! We sat outside under a cover from the sun with cooling sea breezes. My plate of pesto shrimp & ahi tuna (catch of the day) soft tacos had supreme flavor. I saved the chips for later because I was full. See pictures of my food plus a burger & the gigantic fish & chips plates. My bill was under $20 & I was delighted with the meal & the service. Our waiter said we were an "amazing" group probably because we had no complaints. Parking was tricky for me with my vision problems until I found a street area near the Baptist Church with plenty of spots.

This Place is Great! Sit in the top deck and watch the waves crashing on the beach while you eat! The Jerk Wings are spectacular! Get them with a side of hot sauce and Boom! Catch of the day sandwhich is delish and the Oysrters and spectacular! 100% reccomend this place for lunch or dinner!!

The food was wonderful. Amazing crab, amazing shrimp, and great fries. I was slightly disappointed with their award winning key lime pie, but everything was great. It was loud but the live music was fun! Such a happy and good vibes atmosphere.

Went for the first time today. Excellent! Sat upstairs so had a beautiful view of Flagler Beach. Food and service were awesome! Had the fried calamari, fish tacos and a margarita. All delish! I love their signature tartar sauce. Would def recommend to anyone....I am looking forward to visiting again next time I am in the area!
