Poor People's Pub

We were in the island 4 days and ended up eating here 3 times. We were very impressed by the food quantity, quality, and quickness. The lobster roll had a generous amount of delicious fresh lobster. The Mac and cheese was well made and came in a small cast iron pan. One of the servers said people don’t order the spinach artichoke dip enough and they are missing out… and she was right. Creamiest cheesiest dip served in a bread bowl. Fries have a nice salt on them. Our final time there one of us ordered the veggie burger for the first time-it was a strange taste and texture and looked as though it had freezer burn. The server told us they are not frozen so that couldn’t be the case and that what we were seeing was Panko. We asked to order something else which is not something we typically do and even though it was very busy, they accommodated and were kind about it. Nice indoor and outdoor seating options, bathrooms are private room/typical bar fare. Looking forward to coming back next trip here!

Cool gritty pub atmosphere. I was a bit apprehensive coming here reading some reviews…However, so glad I did. The smokehouse burger and fries were perfect! Plenty of beers to choose from.

Had a fantastic meal here - the mac and cheese with lobster was excellent (and FILLED with lobster) and the buffalo wing dip was a big hit. Prices were reasonable for the island and the service was excellent. It was October and we were still able to sit outside
on the porch which was really nice! Off season so parking wasn't terrible (we just parked in the lot across the street).

Fun type of restaurant with many different food options. Nice drink selection and wait staff is friendly. The decor of the restaurant is very cool ! Really enjoyed the $3 brown bag mystery shot.

Stopped by for a bite before hopping on the ferry, service was on point, seated within minutes, drinks within 5, everything we had was great, had the prosciutto and fig pizza and it was simply amazing, one of the best pies I have ever had. Will be going back here next time we visit BI, highly recommend

Wow! Amazing food! Best burger I have had at a restaurant in many years, my wife and I both agreed. Pulled pork easy great as well. Very good service. Good selection of draft beers. I really liked the casual atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. I will be back!

Seriously one of the absolute best meals on the island. Love the atmosphere here and both indoor and outdoor dining. The side patio even has a large TV out there. But the meals are unreal. PPP just puts out amazing meals over and over. They smoke there own meat right out front and if that smell doesn't drag you in what will. The specials change constantly, which means come back and totally new things and often stuff you wouldn't see. Last time here is the soft shell crab sandwich. It speaks for itself

This is a great place for a local vibe!!! We stayed downstairs to enjoy the atmosphere!!! It was worth it!!! The tacos were absolutely amazing!!! The staff was friendly and helpful without being overbearing!! We are definitely going back on our next visit!!!

Amazing atmosphere, wonderful waiter but the food was absolutely, perfectly, and any other word for AWESOME...... Pulled pork Mac n cheese was to die for, taco salad was great and the crispy chicken sandwich was perfect. We were just too full for dessert.

This was our last meal on the island before heading home. We wanted to try something a little less expensive but still good. This was perfect! I'm terrible with names but our server was great! She checked in the perfect amount even though two huge groups came in right after us. The music was a great change of pace to what we usually heard around the island (I'm not a huge country fan) and the food was hot and delicious. My wife had one of the specials (Tuna burger) and it was amazing. We will make this a regular stop!

Excellent burger (smokehouse burger which packed just enough heat) , and a fantastic Rhode Island stuffie (a seafood flavored stuffing served in a clam shell a with some fresh squeezed lemon). With in walking distance from the ferry drop off, in the event that you do not have a bicycle or vehicle

Ridiculously good lobster roll, and the most bacony BLT I've ever had in my life. Great staff, fun outdoor seating area. would go again, would recommend to a friend.

I went to this place last week and it was very phenomenal. I think the last time I remember going to this place was a few years ago. I don’t just love the food, I liked how there’s a secret convenience store on the second floor, which also looks very cool.

The food here is absolutely insane. Hard not to fill up on just the apps! All of the meat is smoked in house and tastes amazing. Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich was also phenomenal.

For the last ten plus years we have been staying on Block Island for a week or two. We always sit at the bar for cocktails and order the food specials off the black board. Never been disappointed, and the prices are very reasonable.
Two dishes that really stood out was the Veal Parm sandwich special which was tender and melted in your mouth. If I see this on the black board again, I am ordering it!
My last meal on Block this year was the Tomahawk Steak special, it was the perfect dinner to end our vacation.

We love everything about this place! Food is great, staff is super wonderful and the prices are more than reasonable for the Island!! Until next year frickles!!

I came here with a couple of friends and we only had drinks. So I can't judge the food, but I will try it when I go back again.

This pub is located on Block Island Rhode Island. Most of the restaurants there are very expensive but this is a reasonable priced pub without sacrificing great tasting food. I had a carved smoke turkey wrap with I swear a half pound of bacon on it!!! Absolutely delicious food!! Our water glasses never got empty. Very nice staff. Great atmosphere eat inside or on patio/porch. Enjoy!!

Had a couple of beers and the apple, chicken sausage, BBQ pizza. Great special without a doubt, will order it again.
