Trail Creek Cabin

We kind of had a Hemmiingway themed wedding, wed at his memorial, stayed in the Hemingway room at the lodge, my wedding dress was a dress that belonged to a friend of Hemingway, so of course our reception was at the Trail Creek Cabin, since he hung out there too. All this was quite by accident, it’s just that Hemingway has such great taste in locations. What a perfect place to have our Wedding Reception, completely unforgettable!!!

Taking the sleigh out in the winter is a fun memorable evening if a little spendy. Sleigh rides vary by the night and time but they can be very enjoyable.
The food is much better than it was seven, eight years ago. Trout was good. The opening Butternut Soup was was the table wide favorite. The beet and apple salad is a fun adventure. The Date Cake is fun and pairs well with the crackling fire.

Nice sleigh ride to a fabulous dinner. Everything was delicious, and the service was great. Will be back!

Picturesque location for weddings and events. The grounds are immaculate and so many options for use of the property. Highly recommend!

As a wedding photographer this is my absolute favorite venue!! You can not go wrong with the beautiful location and view no matter the time of year.

Excellent and properly staffed buffet. Same cabin as in 1950’s, but no longer with piano trio and or dance floor. Dining with the elite.

Top notch experience. The menu is excellent, the rustic ambiance is comfortably elegant (is that an oxymoron?), the staff is professional and friendly, and the sleigh ride rounds out the whole evening in the best of ways.

While pricey, the winter sleigh ride and the prix fixe dinner were both wonderful. The service was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is charming, and the sleigh ride feels surprisingly authentic. Highly recommended!

Very amazing dinner and experience all around. Usually they have a sleigh ride too, but it wasn't running this year because of covid.

Cute and cozy! Their Montana bison (incorrectly marked buffalo) was divine! The wait staff were also great and the atmosphere was homey.

Wonderful food and great service! The bison tenderloin was cooked perfectly. And the duck confit pot pie was unique, surprising, and delicious!

A great tradition when in Sun Valley. Excellent food. Do not miss the Sleigh ride in the winter.
