Big clean well stocked safe good hours good location fresh food fair prices. Has all the departments from garden to automotive, and all the grocery sections from bakery to deli. Much of the parking lot is sloped though, making it tough to take your hands off your shopping cart to load your groceries without having it roll away.

I love shopping at this Fred Meyer location in Astoria, the aisles are always so clean. On my most recent visit they we're out of something I came in for, the employee was so helpful in helping me where it would have been. I had no wait time when I checked out at checkout. I will say their pricing can be confusing at times though.

Very friendly Associates ready to help prices are good my only disappointment is that the milk is clear on the other side more like in the middle but past the groceries past the pet area so it's like if I'm on just to go get milk it's kind of an inconvenience that way but everything else is good to go thanks for Fred Meyers and Associates

I've never had a bad experience at this Fred Meyer.

The products are fresh, varied, and priced fairly (they beat Safeway on nearly everything). The staff, particularly the cashiers, are always friendly, helpful, and quick.

I also love the "close-dated" and "clearance" items in the back of the store. I have found everything from delicious bakery items to sunscreen and contact lens solution for less than half the original price. And they still take coupons for the items, so they can be nearly free sometimes.

Fred Meyer corporate has also been terrific the time I received fewer items than I had been charged for -- they gave me a store credit that was about three times the value of the product I had been charged for twice.

Highly superior to Walmart in Warrenton, Oregon and other stores of its kind in every way possible! Great customer service, gas, knowledgeable employees. We've been going here for 17 years with no complaints! Highly recommended to everyone by us. Please don't bother going to the new Walmart in Warrenton or you'll be greatly disappointed. Terrible customer service overall.

Great selection of items, plenty of staff to keep things moving. Helpful and friendly, even on Thanksgiving eve.

Fred Meyers is always friendly and easy to navigate. The employees are more than happy to help when needed but never intrusive. I've done most of my local shopping here.

I often dreamed of leaving the big city and living my remaining 60 or 70 years in a small apartment working here. But I only been there in September. I bet that coast life gets depressing as hell come June and it's been raining since september . How much is there to do in Astoria in Winter? No ice rink, no skiing, no live music, no asian food, no looting. ???

This Fred Meyer is huge with everything together. The lady at self-checkout was very helpful, especially when it comes to taking the security sensor off the shoe.

Great produce! Bathroom could use a bit of a cleanup and some paper towels but otherwise a good experience.

What can I say... it's a big box store that is selling us everything we need.

This store has it all from gas, where the attendant pumps doe you to groceries' clothing housewares shoes and much more. The prices are a bit steep, but I believe the quality reflects that. Large parking area. Starbucks located inside the store, and they give the used grounds of coffee away free. We love this as we use it to feed our worms and for compost. Masks are required but not enforced. Self check out and rewards program.

Love Fred Meyers. I find what I need and or want, usually more. Although my husbands favorite candy is Carmelo's, and oddly enough they don't sell them there which is quite weird. But plenty of other candies to choose from.
