Superior service, great food, The beef sandwich was really good. The bread was amazing. The beef was topline beef did not care for for the pizza, Tasted like a store-bought pizza wasn’t really that good but everything else I had was excellent.

Stopped for lunch a couple of weeks ago while visiting family in the area. Between three of us we had chicken wings, bacon Swiss burger with onion rings, and lamb gyro with fries. All cooked perfectly and had leftovers for later. The service was wonderful. I love and appreciate they ask and offer a discount to military and first responders. The owner was very friendly, respectable, and professional. We will definitely stop again when we’re back in the area.

Now called Joe's All American Tap Room. It was a wonderful find.
The food was delicious. For a smaller bar you would think they would only have "bar" type food but they have a full menu. I had the Italian beef and it was great.
They have about 10 to 12 beers on tap and 6 of them are local breweries. Upon talking to Joe the owner he says they will be getting a couple more.
I highly recommend Joe's All American Tap for a relaxing night in Vero.

We are visiting from Michigan and our son that lives in Vero Beach recommended Skis Hideaway! Husband and I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the food, atmosphere and waitstaff. A little longer wait to receive food, and slight misunderstanding on our food order, but that was fixed and the chef delivered the corrected portion of the order himself to our table! Menu is amazing and food was fantastic!! I can't wait to go back and try many other items on the menu! Our Son was spot on with his recommendation!! Our kinda place! Thank you, Skis and we look forward to visiting your establishment again!! 5 stars on everything!!

So we were shopping at JoAnn Fabrics and I was talking to the lady cutting our fabric when it came up that they were also from Chicago. I mentioned that what I missed most was the food. She immediately came back with, if I wanted a really good Italian beef sandwich there was a local spot that we should try. I was like, you had me at 'Beef'. She told me the name and explained that it was right up the road. I looked it up on Yelp and it was just 3 miles away in the direction I was headed. I told my child that I had a place to stop for lunch and they said okay. We had no idea what to expect but I am willing to try anyplace once. We drove by and saw that we would have to park in back. There are some reserved spaces which made it easier. We walked across the alley and in the back door to what was clearly a bar. So far it felt like back home. We went in and it was a bit dim inside but you could still see very well. A local law enforcement officer was having lunch and I felt that was a good sign. We were greeted by the lady behind the bar when we walked up and she asked how she could help us. I asked if we could place an order to go and she went and got us the menu. I expected something small with a half dozen items or so but was totally amazed at what they had. The menu was normal size and 2 sided with 2 columns on each side. Now it was interesting. They were not crowded but everyone seemed friendly. We were the only ones wearing masks inside and no one gave us a second look for it. We took some time to peruse the menu and contact my other child to see if they would like us to bring them something. We ordered a chicken parmesan sub with sweet potato fries, a meatball sub with regular fries, an Italian beef extra wet with fries and a basket of onion rings. She also told us they had a breaded steak sandwich that was not on the menu. I immediately thought of Ricobene's. They also told us they do hot dogs but only on Saturdays, and they do Chicago style. They use Vienna Beef products and they do them right. We were told it would take about 15 minutes and to have a seat anywhere to wait and she offered us drinks while we waited. When it was ready she brought us out 2 good sized bags with our food. We hopped in the car and went back to the resort and opened everything up. The 2 subs were bigger than we could have anticipated and they were excellent. The sweet potato fries come with a cinnamon butter that is just divine. My beef sandwich was sufficiently wet to my liking and I put my fries underneath it to soak up all the extra juice. This was hands down the best beef sandwich I have had in the 12 years we have been in the state. At a 3 hour one way drive I will only have it when on vacation near here but it will be worth it. The onion rings were beer battered and came with a funky mustard that was actually pretty good. The amount of food we received was well worth what I paid. If you are in the area they are worth checking out, again and again. I look forward to trying more from their menu.

This place was packed on a Wednesday. First clue it was going to be good. I came to try their wings and was not disappointed. I got the jalapeño garlic flavor and a side of their extra hot. Loved both sauces. The extra hot actually made me sweat a little. I also had the South side combo sub which is Italian sausage and Italian beef subs combined. Be very hungry if you expect to finish this. I added peppers and onions as well as hot Gardiniera. So much greatness in one roll! My buddy had the Ditka. He ate it so fast im guessing he loved it.

My first visit to Vero Beach to visit family. We kept hearing WE need to go to Ski's Hideaway and just had so much going on couldn't fit it in. Today, it became a priority and so glad we did. This place is AWESOME!!! To say the Chicago Beef sandwich is spectacular is an understatement. OMG Bring your appetite when you come because they don't skimp on portions and I'm quite confident you will look forward to returning. GREAT FOOD, laid back atmosphere and friendly staff!!

Real deal mid western eatery here in Vero Beach. Got the breaded tenderloin, nice and bigger than the plate! My only criticism of the food is using non-Heinz ketchup, which is never fun on your fries and affects the sauces too unfortunately, but you dont put ketchup on a Chicago dog so maybe that's just Ski's way. Will be back again.

My husband and I went to Ski's Hideaway for the first time and felt very much at home. Leita welcomed my husband and I like old friends. The food is excellent. My husband had the hamburger salad. The burger in his salad was so good I wanted to come back to have the cheeseburger. It was definitely worth it. This was one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had. I am looking forward to coming back to Vero Beach to return to my friends at Ski's Hideaway!

Sat outside and had dinner with my wife. The food was very good. I got the turkey club and my wife got the mahi tacos. Both were great. They also had leinenkugels summer shandy on tap which was a nice surprise. Would recommend.

Skis is under new management. It's now called Joe's tap room. We were a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. I had the Mahi rueben. It was delicious

Love Skis! The staff is awesome and the food is great. They offer a great selection of local beer too! For a Chicago style place you need to try the Korean Tacos!!! Ginger and other great spices give them a killer flavor bomb! A must visit when in the area.

Cozy restaurant with a very diverse menu. There is something for everyone. Based on the sandwich I had I will definitely be going back to try other things. Burger was good but wings and dogs are better.

Always spot on. There menu is huge. So many choices. The yum yum sauce is the best. It has stayed consistant and always delicious. I ALWAYS get the wings but need to venture out and try other menu items!

Went in for lunch, got the beef sandwich and a pasta salad. The food was awesome and service was on point. Staff was friendly and establishment was clean. Parking lot in back had a lot of spots.

Are you kidding me?! This place is amazing!! Skis Hideaway immediately became our new favorite place. The owners and staff care about every single customer and the deliciousness of the food they serve. Everything we have tried was incredible. They have also created a new sauce called yum yum. If you like sweet with heat, do yourself a favor and try it! The beer is ice cold as well. Make sure you take an opportunity and get over to Skis Hideaway if you love great food with huge portions!

Very good fried chicken sandwich! Kind and friendly staff! Everything that I have tried from Skis had been very good. Atmosphere is always good. Great local spot.

We stopped for lunch and opted for salads. They were huge and chocked full of deliciousness. Service was prompt and friendly. Another great option in Vero Beach.
