Frost Cafe

This was the ultimate all-American, small town diner experience. The service was great and all the wait staff were attentive and incredibly efficient with their job. Huge shout out to the cooks who are pushing out the orders quickly and don’t skimp out on the quality of the breakfast. Everything tasted amazing — best biscuit I’ve had in a loooong time.

A charming place to grab some breakfast with its 50s Ascetic downtown would not be the same without its presence. As for the food I can say it good but not really all that unique

Lunch with my husband. He raved about the tuna melt! My country fried steak was delicious. Nice retro restaurant with great food, great service, great prices!

Such a great diner. It’s a very traditional diner with the basics which now a days is nice to go to a place that makes you feel like you are in grandmas kitchen. You have options to sit at the bar or tables and it’s an open kitchen so you see the food being cooked. The decor is outdated but based off the 60’s diner theme it works.

Been wanting to try Frost for a while as it's only 30 minutes from the lake house...It was fantastic! Staff is super friendly, helpful and quick! The portions are huge and the food is fantastic! This will be a "must go" for when we visit nearby Culpepper for years to come!! Best biscuits and sausage gravy I have had in a long time!

Was in mood for comfort food so I decided to try Frost’s Cafe after seeing so many great reviews of the restaurant. It’s a very retro cafe with a humble appearance from the inside. My waitress was super friendly and very patient with me. I ordered 2 sunny side up eggs, crispy bacon, home fries with onions, buttered toast & cup of coffee. Everything tasted so delicious especially the home fries with onions. Frost’s Cafe really does the home fries right; it actually tastes freshly made. I really needed to eat some comfort food that day to practice some self-love. It was really nice to slowly eat my meal while overlooking the street without being rushed. I will be visiting the restaurant again with my husband. They had other great food choices that I plan on trying next time.

Food was great, albeit slightly less than expected. The atmosphere makes me feel like I stepped into the 1950’s, which was great. I may very well come back here again someday when I visit Virginia again. 👍👍👍

Unfortunately I did not get the waitresses name, but we had service with a smile. The service was impeccable!!! The food was delicious!!! Have been to frost Cafe multiple times. Absolutely love it!!! So for this I say, a HUGE THANK YOU!

Best Food in town! I go to Frost Cafe a least once a week. It is by far the best place in town for delicious, "home-cooked" feeling food at an affordable & honest price. Service has always been timely and the staff are wonderful people. 10/10!

Was not expecting my Reuben to taste so good considering the fairly low price. Honestly one of the best Reubens I've had and I'll definitely be frequenting this place! The chili was just OK but not bad at all
