Pizza Town

I was so happy to find out that Pizza town offers gluten free pizza! It’s hard to find places in Russel County that accommodate food allergies and I was so thankful to have an option when in the area. It was delicious and I didn’t have any kind of reaction. 10/10!

OK, here is how I rate restaurants. And I evaluate restaurants A LOT! There are 3 criteria for being an effective and successful restauranteur: Food, Service, Cleanliness! Google's standard calls what I call 'Cleanliness' "Atmosphere". With that in mind, let me share my experience at Pizza Town today.

The Cleanliness or Atmosphere was exactly on par. Nothing stood out on either side. For the location and clientele that they have, I don't think it would be necessary to invest aot if money in the "Atmosphere" to make it an authentic Italian eatery. The place was clean enough. Not noteworthy as super clean but also no roaches running around.

The Service was just slightly above par. The order taker was friendly enough. She didn't add any extra interaction but there was a line so I give her a check for fulfilling expectations. However, the man that brought out our food was very friendly and had personality, he was fantastic, and from the way I saw him interacting with the employees, he was their boss. Good on that one.

Now we get to why I even decided to write this review. THE FOOD!!! This restaurant would be highly successful in any big city in America because of how GREAT the food was! I mean, top of the line fantastic. The food came out fresh and hot about 10 minutes after we ordered it which felt really fast! The pizza crust and the Calzone crust was very very good! I could not believe that we were getting such a high-quality food experience in such a small town where they could get away with doing much less. Well done Pizza Town!!! I don't come through here often enough but every time I do from now on, I will be here without a doubt!

Pizza Town owner...you seriously need to consider opening another location with your recipes in a bigger town. If you invest in training and can get a newer location and keep it clean, your food speaks for itself!!! You will make a lot of money!

I hadn't eaten here in years. Still the same. The pizza is super cheesy and delicious. The service was super quick. We got the Supreme.

This is a family favorite for whenever we come through this way! Mom gets salad, Dad gets a calzone and the rest of us get pizza and cheese sticks. The environment is so friendly, and honestly, there's not a time when we don't meet someone we know. Its definitely a town hot spot, and there's really no reason to question why.

Pizza was delicious. Definitely recommend for people stopping by while staying in the area. Welcomes people not from there county. Very generous and polite. Food came out quick and was amazing.

I’ve been eating at Pizza Town since I was little and it’s always been exceptional! Great food and prices, and the people that work here are so friendly and good at their jobs! I highly recommend eating here or at least trying it! :) 5 stars for sure!

I ❤ this place!! I really wish I knew how to do tiktok I think my delivery just now would have went viral!! When I called earlier to order I told the woman that I didn't know what I wanted, only that I wanted lots of bread and cheese. (We've all had these days don't judge.)Y'all that wonderful lady definitely heard me. I am ashamed I ate it before thinking to snap a pic but I can only say that calzone was the most amazing concoction of carbohydrate purgatory imaginable. She hooked me up!! 😋💯🧀🍞🧈🩷👏

Nice quiet place to sit down and devour the most delicious homemade pizza I have ever tasted. Definitely going back as often as I can. A little expensive but worth it.

How can I not give this place 5 Stars? If you are looking for authentic pizza this is the place to go. All of their crusts are hand made and only the freshest ingredients are used. The pizzas here remind me of the pizzas I grew up with. The prices are very reasonable as well. It is well worth the drive too.

Pizza Town has always been a favorite restaurant of mine. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The food is wonderful and reasonably priced. The restaurant is clean and well kept. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for some authentic Italian food! ☺

Oh we had a great calzone lunch. Best I've had. The nice woman at the counter congratulated us on our anniversary today. Best service and great food all the way around. Their buffet on Sundays is awesome too
