The Ole Country Store & Bakery

I stopped here on my way back home. It was such a cute store with lots of nice finds. I got the fresh chicken pot pie, some home made egg noodles, some chocolate covered pretzels, and some uniquely flavored pancake mix. The store was clean and the employees were kind. Definitely worth a stop.

What a big place, packed full of customers the day I stopped in. And I could see why. So many baked goods, sweets, baking supplies, gifts and more to feast your eyes on. Lines were long, no one complaining and staff very helpful. Deli = amazing and bacon buying was definitely going on. If you get invited to a gathering and need to bring food or a hostess gift stop in here.
They have bathrooms, outside seating and under and enclosure. Parking was full but plenty available options. Kid friendly but they will want to buy a treat for sure. And ice cream for those hotter seasons.

This place is awesome!! A must for stopping for a great lunch. They after fresh deli sandwiches or their lunch specials like stuffed chicken and mash potatoes and a side. They also have a Country Creamery it was closed when I visited but heard they make amazing ice cream, Sundays and other ice cream related goodies. Very big servings so come hungry:) they have all kinds of baked goods and other groceries items that are all very high quality P.S they have cookies that are super amazing! Hope this review helps and leads you to your high expectations.

Nice country store. My regular stopping place before or after wineries. Great selection of many healthy foods, baked goods, delicious snacks and icecream. Prices are really good too. Will be back again very soon.

We love the Ole Country Store! Stopping here often. Their sandwiches are the best!! Piled high. Great place for a special yummy treat for yourself or as a gift to someone!

Always a favorite place of ours to stop for a quick bite to eat or a sweet treat. They serve amazing breakfast sandwiches and have a great selection of regular sandwiches and weekly specials.

Their Country Creamery is located inside and have great hand-scooped ice cream and milkshakes.

The Ole Country Store & Bakery is so awesome. So much yummy stuff! Their sandwiches are stuffed full and are delicious. My husband and daughters are hooked on their chicken salad. Their ice cream is delicious and they pack those cones full, too. So much good stuff there—baked goods, fresh milk, jellies and jams, bacon—you name it. It’s also nice that they have a closed in porch with tables you can eat at. In colder months they have heaters running. It’s nice the store is right next to Lake Pelham so you have pretty water views from the store as well. Convenient location right off Route 29 and super nice employees. Not to be missed when you are in Culpeper!

As you walk inside the building the first thing you notice is the delicious 😋 smell of sugar in the air. Felt like I walked into 🍬 candyland🎂🍰🧁🍭 Everything was so clean and organized. My family and friends enjoyed the creamy ice cream flavors 🍨 I was so happy to see they had so many options for Vegans🌱and alternatives (food and ingredients wise) I regret not going there from the first day they opened up. I will surely buy my Christmas sweet and gifts 🎁 this December ☺

What a pleasant surprise for us, newbies in Culpeper. Great values. Delicious fresh goods. Of every edible kind. Vinta Crackers, homemade jams. Bagels, coconut custard pie - over the moon about that.

The sandwiches at this establishment are truly exceptional. As for their ice cream, it may not be an overstatement to say that it is the finest in all of Virginia. The lunch menu items are consistently in high demand and tend to sell out quickly. In fact, I'll need to mark my calendar and set a reminder for Pot Roast Day, which is scheduled for tomorrow, Monday. I'm absolutely thrilled!

Loved the top quality meat products and baked goods. Reward yourself with some ice cream while you are there.

Super cute store that smells amazing when you walk in! The sandwiches are amazing, and especially for the value. There’s a little bit of everything here, and it faces out towards lake Culpeper. Excited to return!

Very good food ,large portions,good prices. Store is super clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Don't miss the icecream it's the best. All food is takeout but porch has comfortable chairs and tables to picnic on.

Such a beautiful little store! Eggs, bacon and pretty much everything else are very reasonably priced and organized. Ice cream is sooooo delicious!

We stop here on our way to MD. All sandwiches are delicious (breakfast or lunch). We always get smores mix in the snack aisle, chocolate milk, and hand pies are a must...

What a neat store we were traveling I sure wish it was closer to home. I highly recommend stopping if you ride by. They have a little bit of everything. Just a few pictures of items that I bought.

Always love coming here! Deli meats and cheeses are wonderful, and their selection can't be beat. If you haven't tried their beef sticks you're really missing out, I'll never eat a slim Jim again after having theirs! Some Saturday mornings the donut kitchen is setup out front and that's just a bonus, hot fresh donuts cooked while you wait! Do yourself a favor and try this place out, you won't be disappointed.

We got sandwiches which were very good. They had a lot of merchandise to choose from too.
