Rocca Trattoria Italian Restaurant

Came in to place a takeout order and ordered a glass of wine with my husband. Service was absolutely amazing! Garlic bread with the best crunch ever (couldn't get a picture before we ate it!), bean salad spread that sets off the garlic bread perfectly, and the friendliest staff!
Will absolutely be coming back to dine in!

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance exuded a warm, classic Italian vibe that promised a memorable dining experience. Our waitress for the evening, Teresa, was attentive and delightful, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our meal.

The meal started with homemade garlic bread, straight from the oven. Crispy on the outside, soft within, it had a wonderful aroma that whet our appetites. Complementing the bread was a refreshing and tangy Italian bean salad that teased our taste buds with its perfect balance of flavors.

After the starters, an avocado salad graced our table. The freshness of the avocados paired with ripe tomatoes made for a dish that was as pleasing to the eyes as it was to the palate. Following this refreshing salad, we were treated to a creamy carrot tomato soup. It had a velvety texture and a rich taste, combining the sweetness of carrots with the tanginess of tomatoes. It was a delightful bridge between our light starters and the heartier main courses.

The main courses were the showstoppers. The lasagna was masterfully crafted with a perfect harmony of cheese, sauce, pasta, and meat. Each bite was a testament to the culinary prowess of Rocco Trattoria. Not to be overshadowed was the special of the day: a braised short rib in red wine. Tender and flavorful, it paired beautifully with the Rossetti.

For dessert, we were indulged with exquisite profiteroles, airy and filled with a luscious cream. Alongside, we savored the traditional cannoli, crisp on the outside with a rich and creamy filling, a delightful end to an unforgettable meal.

In summary, our dining experience at Rocco Trattoria Italian Restaurant was "over the top amazing." From the service to the food, everything was impeccable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic Italian culinary journey.

Try this restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Theresa the waitress and now my friend is amazing. Moises is the owner and Chef. I always get a big hello from both of them. I’ve eaten there many times and taken some of my friends and relatives and they to have never been disappointed, and gone back on their own.

There start you will Bread served on a heated platter with Olive Oil and Cheese. Then they serve you your appetizers, next comes complimentary soup, which is delicious. Now if you still have space in your tummy comes your main dish. The specials change every night and are excellent. Congratulations if you can make dessert. I Love this place and now is my favorite restaurant.

My husband and I stopped in for my birthday dinner. I am so glad we did. The service, atmosphere and food was excellent. From the bread to the appetizer, soup, entree and dessert, everything was absolutely amazing. Teresa was awesome and very informative. The chef is also the owner, he even took a minute to come out and say happy birthday and take a picture with us. We were blown away by how delicious everything was. We will definitely make this one of our go to spots! I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Everything about this restaurant is great! My family, extended family and I are all visiting FL for our aunt/great aunts 100th birthday and a group of us decided to head out this evening for a dinner and we landed on Rocca’s. So thankful we did. The atmosphere was great, the service was even better and the food was incredible. There we nine of us at dinner and we haven’t stopped raving about it. We are all visiting from around the country and this place brought us together as a family and gave us the best experience we could ask for. A definite must try and we will be back! Thank you Rocca’s!!!

Some of the best service we’ve ever gotten in south Florida. From the manager to the server to the busboy, everyone was extremely polite and gracious. Delicious pasta, wine selection is fantastic, and on top of it all, prices don’t break the bank. Expect giant portions. We will be back very soon :)

A girlfriend and I had a very lovely dinner there late last week .. first time there.. we will be back! Teresa as our server was excellent very attentive and the food I just can't say enough about the food! we had the short ribs both of us and enjoyed it immensely! we will be back with others:-)

We had a great experience. The wait staff was excellent. 2 of our kids ordered spaghetti and it was great. My wife had the fettuccine with shrimp and it did not disappoint. The pepperoni pizza had the largest pepperoni I have ever seen and it was delicious. The crab and lobster ravioli was great.

I wish that I could give them 6 Stars instead of 5! The food was amazing, the best Italian food that I have had in the area. Wonderful Service as well! Try them, you won't be sorry.

This place is amazing! The food was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. We had the meat lover's pizza and the papardelle pasta with vodka sauce and meatballs. Both were great. The pizza was one of the best I've ever had. And the waitress was very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

After reading great reviews about this restaurant we decided to try it for ourselves. We were greeted by friendly staff and a wonderful waitress Teresa who made our visit even better. The food was phenomenal and we intend on making Rocco Trattoria our new favorite restaurant. Would highly recommend.

Our experience was wonderful. Chef personally took our orders, and made us feel like we were part of the family. The food was to die for!!! Everything was fresh and delicious. Chef also suggested a beautifully paired wine that went with our meal perfectly. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant!

Definitely the best Italian food in lighthouse point . We got the oso buco ravioli and the gnocchi plus the meatballs for the appetizer. Eating inside you HAVE TO reserve yet outside dining is more than fine. Real nice plus , the chef comes out and asks you how your meal is . It’s a real nice touch

Amazing Italian place owned by Lucia. After cooked for other tables she came to our table to offer to us a special dish prepared by her. Phenomenal traditional Italian food, you can feel the Nonna's recipes. Good prices and portions!

New owners, new chef, new menu… 1yr anniversary this Dec 2023! Food was absolutely fabulous… risotto was so perfect, amazing braised short ribs and a homemade soup that I hope to copy! Teresa made our dinner extra special. We cannot wait to go back and see this as our new “go to” for lunch & dinner! And they’re open on Monday☺

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend on a date night. Absolutely blew our expectations! Atmosphere was perfect and the food was outstanding. Teresa was a sweetheart, all of her recommendations were spot on. We will be back!

Chef Mercedes did a great job! The best frutti di mare that I’ve ever tried!! My boyfriend ordered a lasagna and it was amazing as well! Great service and nice environment, We are definitely coming back!
