Euphemia Haye Restaurant & The Haye Loft

We went in early December on a weeknight, we made a reservation, it turned out. It wasn’t really that busy, about half full perhaps. We were seated immediately at an intimate table near the window in the far room room. Very quaint dining room. Formal. Our waiter was very attentive. We got a bottle of wine. It was a small kitchen out in the dining room, where they would prepare Caesar salad and some flambé dishes. My wife’s cousin recommended this place, the duck was highly recommended, I had it, and it was absolutely delicious. After dinner, we went upstairs to the separate dessert room and got a great presentation on the desserts that they had that night. I had the Keylime pie. It was delicious. A little Baileys on the rocks has a nightcap.

pretty darn good - I read the reviews - perhaps the clock is running on the restaurant’s reputation ,,,, staff seemed a little nonchalant …indifferent, maybe coasting ?…hostess often absent from the entrance — sad when no one acknowledges your departure … the pro edge is missing…didn’t see any management present… could be a clue why the staff is on autopilot … fine dining days are over?…one reviewer said if you like this place you’re from the 80’s…yes, they’re right - fine dining is history…get in here before it’s too late…get the sweetbreads Grenobloise

Our great service started when we walked in the door and was met by Georgette. She was very warm and welcoming. We were shown to our table and Spencer described all the specials and my mouth started watering. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the entrees. We ordered the grouper with brussel sprouts and veal with broccoli. The presentation of our meals was as amazing as they tasted. We finished our evening up in the dessert room where Ariana described all the amazing options we could choose from. Diane served us our custom cocktails and our amazing desserts. We will absolutely be back. This was the best meal I’ve experienced from start to finish in a long time.

We ate here for the first time, By far some of the best food we've ever had. I had the Cannelloni and my wife had the NY Strip. Two of the most amazing meals. We were a party of 6, the restaurant was very accommodating. The service was amazing. Our waiter Dave took care of our every need.
The sauce for the steaks was something I wish they sold and I could have taken home with me.
The owner is one of the nicest ladies we met that night. She made sure we had the best evening. We then went upstairs for after dinner cocktails and dessert. I had the best banana cream pie I've ever had. We all had a different dessert and we all thought what we had was so delicious.
Highly recommend Euphemia Haye. We will be coming here every time we come for a visit to the area. This is a gem. One of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at.

Great restaurant. They say fine dining but it's not necessarily coat and tie. The service was good and the dishes were unique and super tasty. The dessert room was nice although the stairs were a bit steep. They had a great selection of desserts to choose from.

Very elegant yet cozy. Delicious food and impressive cakes and pies like you've never seen. Friendly staff makes you feel like your home. The entire restaurant smells delicious upstairs and downstairs.

Dining at Euphemia Hate is such a wonderful experience! They are so accommodating and the food is supreme! My SIL and I always split the pepper steak and the red snapper. As you can see, they plate it split for us! Sides are always delicious and shareable.

This is an incredibly nice upscale restaurant that I'd recommend a reservation for. That being said, I intend to visit each and every time I am in Sarasota/LBK.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with any of their Pizzas, especially if you are a thin crust person. The Avocado bruschetta was wonderful too, but my biggest recommendation is the Prime Peppercorn Steak, which is a house cut NY Strip with peppercorn crust in an orange brandy sauce. Best steak in Sarasota area. Finish your meal with any dessert at the dessert bar, but definitely try the Apple Walnut Crumble. Overall, fantastic restaurant.

This is one of our favorite restaurants around the Anna Maria, LBK and Sarasota area. We have been going here for about 10yrs and love the whole experience. The restaurant was recently taken over but has kept the same wonderful warmth and hospitality it has always been known for. We went last Saturday and it was wonderful to see the famous sparkly lights as you arrive to the restaurant. We had a wonderful server who was so kind and helpful and extremely professional. We had their famous homemade Ceaser Salad and also the seasonal Pumpkin Soup, both were great. We had Steaks, Curry Style Shrimp and Pasta for our main dishes, everything was delicious. After dinner we went upstairs to their dessert area and had a few selections of their homemade pies along with freshly made coffee. We absolutely love here for it's grace and style serving top quality food.

A true gem. Carter was very attentive, glasses never ran dry, and he was very helpful with menu selections. We split the spinach salad then had grouper and lamb shank entrees. After dinner he escorted us up to the mind boggling dessert selection. Upstairs bar was fun after the banana cereal pie!

We were here in Christmas Eve and the food was excellent! The service was impeccable. The only complaint that I had (but it won't affect my review) is that the tables were so close together the staff and other patrons kept bumping into my chair as they walked by. Be sure after your meal that you go upstairs to the dessert room, it is a whole different experience but every bit as worthy of a 5-star review in its own right.

The food is exquisite. It is top caliber dining. The chef blends different ingredients and the flavors explode in your mouth.The ambience is very intimate and cozy. The service was amazing. After dinner, go upstairs and enjoy an array of high quality desserts in a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Euphemia. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This place is great from start to finish. Mushroom soup, salmon on buckwheat blini, key west snapper, veal Marsala, could it get any better? Yes! Upstairs to the Hayloft for an after dinner drink (Mccallan) double cask single malt) , French press coffee and chocolate cake w/chocolate ganache, perfect level of chocolate goodness, (not too rich) and the best coconut cream pie I’ve ever had!( sorry Mom)

The Haye Loft was wonderful. Drinks were great and they have an amazing by the glass wine list. This time, we ordered personal pizzas from the bar and we're thoroughly impressed. The BBQ Duck pizza was amazing! Great service and great live music.

This next time we went, we ordered salads, the steak sandwich, drinks, coffee and for dessert, the cheese cake! Once again, delicious food and lovely experience!

This place is the best spot on LBK. The duck is definitely my favorite add some Brussels sprouts and the mashed cauliflower and your set. The dessert is also great and the atmosphere up stairs is very relaxing!

Oh my! The Waldorf Salad is the best salad I have ever had. My wife and I refuse to split one they are so good. She had the Key West Snapper which she LOVED, and I had the Filet with sautéed mushrooms. It was superb. Great atmosphere, great service, cool vibe and location. Third time there and it keeps getting better.

An exceptional restaurant in the "old Florida style". Expect a wonderful experience with fine dining, drinks and a great selection of desserts in the 2nd floor Desert Bar. Go early and stay long.

Beyond amazing!!! Food was most exceptional.. staff fabulous. Unique upscale intimate experience. Michelin 5 Star!! Would recommend to ALL!!! 👍🏻💗💕

Delicious food, generous portions, excellent service.
Expensive but worth it for most things except the insanely overpriced Shrimp Egg Roll at $17.95 for ONE egg roll. (Apparently it's one of the chef's specialties so they keep it on the menu at that price despite complaints). Everything else was in line with a 5 star restaurant and to be expected. Cocktails were perfect and reasonably priced. Service was outstanding and the waitstaff followed Covid protocols.

We travel to vacation in Longboat Key every year, and not one has passed in the last decade where we did not end up having dessert night at Euphemia Haye. This year, we also had dinner downstairs in the dining room. The menu is varied and each of our dishes was fantastic. From steak to seafood to poultry, all six of our dinners were fantastic. The desserts are unsurpassed - photos show a sampling. Roughly a dozen different options prepared fresh everyday. Truly a treat, complimented by the freshly pressed coffee.
