I loved this place! The food was unique without being too weird and was delicious. I loved that they had homemade lemon meringue pie as it’s a favorite of mine. The staff at was friendly and the service was quick. I loved the atmosphere. It made for a perfect cute romantic lunch. I wish I lived closer so I visit there frequently.

I love this place, the food is really good and so is their coffee. I always recommend this place to people who come to the area and want a place to eat. It's such a hidden little gem and it's woman owned which is another huge plus. Keep doing what you're doing, Cooks Room!

A small town friendly atmosphere, fantastic customer service and very Delicious food

A much more extensive menu then I expected - the half/half options were fantastic: pretty much any half sandwich or salad paired with any other half or side. The cubana and mango chicken paininis were great, very crispy, and the Greek salad with pickled beets was very refreshing.
Also, the rhubarb pie was a delight - sour, and perfect. Life is short - eat the pie!

A favorite when visiting Dodgeville. Espresso, coffee, baked goods, lunch salads, sandwiches, and wraps. Local jams, and roasted coffee beans. Very nice people. Interesting seating, with some tables up in a little balcony area.

Had a salad, wrap, and coffee. Everything was really tasty and came out pretty quickly. The server was nice. Coffee was super good and they had options for vegetarian and lactose free folks.

I eat at the Cooks Room two to three times a week for lunch, not once have I found the service lacking. Everyone one is pleasant and polite even when they are slammed at the lunch hour. The PIE, food and coffee are great but what makes this place special is the service!!!!

Surprisingly delicious food. I had low expectations (because Dodgeville) but was blown away. The food wasn't really complicated - I got a pretty standard breakfast - but everything was made perfectly. The eggs were perfect, the bacon was delicious, and the potato cake thing was really tasty. Hidden gem.

Amazing breakfast! Staff is so friendly. The Omlets had fresh ingredients and were the best I have had in years. Bread was thick sliced and fresh and the breakfast potatoes where unique and amazing! If your looking for an affordable delishes and amazing experience this is the place!

My new favorite place to eat! I really enjoy their salads! Also their atmosphere is friendly and so is the staff and they have an amazing kids menu too!!

My go to place for lunch and conversation. I have enjoyed the Cubana panini and Ceasar salad several times. I branched out recently and had the special roast beef and blue cheese panini YUM! I tried the sweet basil tomato soup, just right. Great sandwiches and salads, good value and a long list of specialty coffees. Go!

We were just passing through the area, looking for a quick lunch spot that had gluten free and vegetarian options. This place checked all of our boxes, with delicious food and friendly, quick service!

If your in Dodgeville you NEED to stop here for coffee and breakfast / lunch. This is hands down the best place in the area! Food is homemade, consistently AWESOME and the service is outstanding! Wish I could give 6 stars ******

Great coffee and a nice place to sit and study. Small little Cafe with menu items for breakfast or lunch. The batista at 8am is pleasant and makes a great Betty White.

Amazing food every single time!!

Adorable atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. I had the Minnesota tea and a panini with basil, tomato, mozzarella cheese and a touch of balsamic vinegar. Yum!
