Public Kite Beach

We had an amazing week at this beach! It was never crowded. We stayed at a nearby condo and walked here daily. There is a bathroom and shower. When they say Kite they don’t mean regular old kites! Very family friendly beach with locals when I went in May. The water temperature was perfect!

Great little beach. Got to fly my handmade kite, which has now been flown on both USA oceans on opposite corners of the USA. Great place to watch some great kite surfing.

Its really serene and quite.. pretty empty and i was in awe.. check out the pics I entered. Loved the sight of a beautiful light house. Very clean beach, not many people but a cool place to chill and hang out... Not too many parking spots which means only the residents of the condo's use this beach.

They have some construction work going on so use the entry from the park

I love this beach. Very quiet area. But parking area is really small.

This is a nice public beach with soft, white, powdery sand. Lots of beach chairs and umbrellas available for use with lots of room to still have some kind of privacy and seclusion.

Amazing! The sea was really calm and not too much seeweed. Very family oriented and not many tourists.

This is a great spot to launch kites and enjoy water sports. Inside the cones is for the kite boarders . So if you come here respect that. Outside the cones is for other beach comers. Dogs are not allowed on the beach the signs say it as well..

Great public beach with lots of water activities and the light house.

It's a great Beach and it's semi-private. From kite Beach if you head north towards the lighthouse oh, it's mostly just houses and said there's hardly any people there at the beach. Nice romantic walk to the jetty by the lighthouse. I highly recommend it.

Short of parking spots

Beautiful not busy beach with a nice walk , half mile one way to the canal with a amazing view of coming through boats, as well as less then mile to the Pampano Beach Pier . A lot of bars and restaurants with ocean view on a way.
Wave riders and wind jumpers to make it even more interesting to watch.
A few spots for parking though.
Otherwise, beautiful place to spend time with family and friends.

Great place for very experienced Kiteboardimg/ not a good spot if your just starting out . Due to the location and many people. I do love this beach. It gets packed though and parking fills up very fast if your driving here . Not so good no parking available most of the time . To bike 5stars

Beautiful ocean 🌊, love it withy family.

The most popular kite surfing spot in the Ft. Lauderdale area. On a windy day you will see 20 to 30 kites here. The beach is wide and the shore break is smaller than most kitting spots to the North. There is a jetty about 1000 ft North that helps protect the beach from waves. There is a sand bar about 200 ft East that makes nice small breaking waves to jump and play with.

Clean and beautiful. Not crowded at all and had a cute little park with cover in case it rains and picnic tables and a restroom.

Very nice and clean beach. You can watch a lot of boats coming in and going out the Hillsboro Inlet. Nice views of the lighthouse as well.

Peaceful place, only real locals go here, come enjoy and leave the beach even better you found it. The lighthouse is a beautiful add-on view value.
