I went to buy a shrimp net 01/19/2024 and Logan my sales representative was Outstanding!! He went above and beyond my expectations of the help I needed. He explained Everything regarding shrimping, including favorable weather conditions and many item choices. I left and went right back to purchase a second net. His knowledge of the entire store inventory was impressive. He is an excellent asset to your store. I expressed my delight with the entire experience he provided for myself and all patrons were uplifted as well!!! Great Job !

Immanuel was very friendly and helpful. He knew his products very well and sold me a lure. Caught a largemouth bass immediately using the lure he reccomended😃👍

Tried Big Dog Tackle today for the 1st time at the recommendation of a friend. Brought in a new reel to get spooled, pick up some frozen sand fleas and Sputnik anchor sinkers. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Jared was ending his shift but stayed a bit longer and with a genuine smile and enthusiastic attatitude got to spooling my reel with 605 yards so l wouldn't have to drive back to pick it up hours later. This kind of work ethic is so rare today that l can't rave enough about this kid!!! They have a great selection of everything you could need for any kind of fishing and a nice selection of frozen baits.

Great spot for all your tackle needs, but charged more than necessary due to the inexperience of one of one of their youngins. LPs have a high gear kiddo 😆

Long time resident but I had not been in before this. I will be a customer for sure. I went in last week looking for wax thread as my normal place does not carry it. I was browsing around and was promptly asked if I needed help. I asked for wax thread and was politely told they were currently out of stock. However, I was asked how much I needed. When I mentioned an arms length, the person said "let me take some off of my spool". I agreed but asked to pay for it. She went and got me about 6' of wax thread and when I asked how much they said it was on the house. Love that this is locally owned with great staff. They seem to have the critical fishing tackle that serious fisherman want without all the fluff. I will be back many times for sure. Great customer service!

I came in for the first time to change out the mono on my reel for braid, and Willis one of the employees helped me out. He guided me through a few different options . He worked quick, and did an outstanding job. Additionally, I had a few queries regarding fishing and a couple of products. He was well-informed and answered them without any hesitation.

I have to say from my first time entering and shopping for what I came to purchase was in stock and everything else I inquired about was in the store. All the employees were very helpful and professional in the store and enthusiastic about their wanting to be of any help to or assistance with finding what I needed and if it wasn't in the store they would gladly order it. I rank inventory, cleanliness and courtesy of all at the Top. Will always respect and recommend this experience for satisfaction of your needs in the fisherman's desire, give them a try.

I don’t normally write reviews on things but I thought id speak on the top notch customer service from a member of their team, employee Immanuel gave me excellent advice to purchase a lure he has been catching fish on recently and it’s become a threat in my fishing arsenal! Big Dog Tackle is fully stocked with whatever type of fishing gear you could want. Staff is knowledgable and friendly. If you fish offshore, this should definitely be your go to tackle shop in Broward County, FL.

Came into Big Dog Tackle for the first time, Vinnie was very helpful and informative and very nice. Rhonda was very nice and sweet and made us feel welcomed. The store has a lot of different clothes, reels, bait and tackle. Would recommend and come here again!

Great experience here today, staff was super helpful especially Matthew! I'm a beginner fisherwoman so he was very patient & informational, even taught me how to tie a few knots which was awesome! Caught a nice Mackerel out at Dania Beach today with my new Battle 3 DX 5000 reel that he spooled for me! Will definitely be coming back here with anymore equipment I may need for my growing new hobby :)
