It was one thing searching for the right hat for my son but to walk into a business and get treated like the #1 customer made my shopping experience by far the best service I have received in so long. Amazing service and experience! I was so happy when I left to go back to Paonia with my custom hat - I texted my friend up in Taos and recommended it. He texted back and said he had already been there 3x times, once as a kid when he dad wouldn’t buy him a hat and now he’s bought 2x Stetsons from them.

I live in Costa Rica and I needed more hats! While visiting my in-laws in ABQ, the internet told me this would be THE place for great hats, and they were right. Two lovely gentlemen took great care of me, and I enjoyed their company and conversation. Walked out with 6 new hats and can not WAIT to wear them all! The first time I ever wished I had two heads. :) This is a woman's hat shop, too - if you don't mind wearing men's hats, they welcome you with open arms!

The staff are always super knowledgeable and helpful. They were honest about cleaning and repairing my father's hat. That's it was too thin to be repaired. Steamed a point out of a hat I bought second hand. Ordered in a specific heat for my husband and fit me for a new hat. Would highly recommend.

Not just for men in my experience!! They’ll help you with hats that you didn’t even buy from them. I picked up a gorgeous blue hat with brown strap last time. This place has been around my whole life, they must be doing something right. Had a great conversation with the man behind the counter who I assumed was the owner.

I call this a specialty shop. They specialize in palm and felt. I have a huge melon and I have a dozen hats from over the decade I have lived here.

But I do shape them when I get home for specific tasks. This one I am shaping for riding cycles. Can be worn in both directions depending on the wind speed.

I'm from the south and never leave the house without a brim hat. Some of these hats I several of the same style. You can add as much shape as you want or not!

What a great thing to have such a nice specialty shop here in Albuquerque. They sell a wide variety of felt, straw, and palm hats, and they can shape them to your specification.

If you need a men's hat this is the place to come from country to city slicker they have them all. When you leave the store you will have a hat that fits and a smile. Thanks guys !!!

This is one of the few old school hat shops left that still does it right and has many different styles and brands i’d recommend this store to anyone confidently

I found this awesome shop in 2001. I have purchased numerous golf hats and hatbands. Service always the best. Will never go anywhere else. They were even on an Advil commercial.

This shop is amazing! The two men I met who helped me were very fast, they gave me my options and they were super friendly and helpful. It's also very affordable too. I'm a teenager, I pay for everything I can and it was an amazing hat, great quality for such a low price. I think I'm going to go here for all of my hat needs in the future. I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone!

Bought my 1st hat there, April 1986. Sadly, head bigger, the hat shrinking. Still, it was a great hat... whiskey color, gambler/telescope crown/porcupine quill hat band. Next Rte. 66 trip, I'm shopping there. Wanna look good in my Mustang convertible.

Saw this place on Fox News the other day. I am newly retired and moving to Arizona and wanted to treat myself to a nice hat and also one for my wife. Went in right when they opened and was greeted right away. I discussed what I was looking for and he took over. I was fitted and tried on lots of hats and had so much fun. I ended up getting 3 hats for myself and one for my wife and son. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who happens to be lucky enough to be in Albuquerque. 100 thumbs up thanks for the experience.
