Best corner store ever! The crew kept the neighborhood going during the pandemic, always an uplifting chat and an update. I don't have TV so I get my pandemic news here.

This store is fantastic. Wished they'd sell more Diet Coke and Diet Dr Pepper. I only have a beer once every few months and felt bad for the Corona brand.

Little more that your avg corner store, this spot offers a unique variety of wine and spirits. El Rey Liquors specializes in tequila and many different bourbons/whiskies, from around the world.

You will need a password to get into the speakeasy, but it’s always posted on their IG. The place also “hits capacity” so you might have to put your name on a waitlist.

Great whiskey selection. Love this little store. As well as a secrets associated with it.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Having just arrived in Albuquerque for the first time, I didn't know the rules for alcohol sales in the state. There isn't government control on pricing I learned. The prices were considerably higher than in Michigan which surprised me. I have no other alcohol purchases to compare it to in NM so I don't know how prices compare to other stores. Since they were so helpful and friendly, they earned 5 stars from me!

Cool store with a cool selection, and one of the only places downtown open that late from a liquor/beverage perspective. Also, Brian is the man and that’s all you need to know.

So far my ratings 5 stars because they were just open! Needed liquor for a recipe. What might change it, is the fact that my phone was "ganked' from my ride while inside! I have a theory, but hoping that I ,just dropped it in the store. Thank you, El Rey Liquors, downtown needs your product! ♥

The gentleman at the counter was super personable and offered to answer questions if needed. Decent little liquor store downtown.

The two guys working had extensive knowledge of all the beer and helped us pick out excellent local brews. Definitely appreciate the great service.
