i was driving down from alabama and needed somewhere to eat. saw this place was close to decided to call and place an order for some fried chicken wings with shrimp fried rice. when i arrived, i added on some coconut shrimp, since i had never heard of a mom & pops chinese spot having it. food was absolutely incredible. chinese takeout is one of my favorite meals, and i think this place may genuinely be the best chinese takeout spot i’ve been to in all seriousness. when i placed my order over the phone the service was absolutely fantastic too. awesome spot, my only problem is the fact that i live in orlando ahahaha

This is the best fried rice I’ve had in any Chinese restaurant. Very good 😊

The food is always cooked perfectly and they always get my order right. You can ask for things a certain way and they will cater to your liking. This is the only Chinese store I order from in my area.

My husband and I love cheap Chinese food. This place was just the ticket. We ordered 2 egg rolls and the sweet and sour pork. The food was hot and delicious, we could understand the lady on the phone, and the restaurant was clean and orderly. I can't wait to try another dish next time.

China Express earned a 5 star review for their attention to detail in serving Take Out food and for cheerfully serving us after their stated closing time. They had a heavy plastic partition to protect the customers and employees during the take out process and wore masks. Having been in the restaurant business 36 years I was quite nervous about eating in restaurants during our Ginnie Springs dive trip but China Express exceeded my safety expectations. Be careful where you eat, eat here!

We love this place! They were the first place we ate at when we moved to High Springs years ago. We continue to order from them in their new location in Alachua. The food is consistently good. The family that owns it are always friendly even when they’re busy. I remember during the aftermath of Hurricane Irma they were one of the few places with power. They were open and cooking people much needed hot food. We highly recommend this place.

Much better taste than most other chinese restaurants. The egg drop soup was a little thicker than normal, but I added some hot water and it was perfect. Decent prices too.
