Two beautiful ladies were passing out flyers and convinced us to try it out. Everyone was so sweet, welcoming, friendly, and kind to us. The food was so delicious. Must try!

The service and food was excellent. Our 2 waitresses were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out hot and everything was amazing!

Great new seafood restaurant pub for the town of Alachua. I had the Jumbo Shrimp with bang bang sauce . Shrimp where definitely large and tasty even without the great bang bang sauce. My friend had the Ahi tuna cooked to perfection. The bang bang shrimp appetizer looked big enough for a meal. They also had decent live music band to listen to definitely a plus.

First visit on their 5th day open- started with Bang Bang Shrimp with their homemade dipping sauce......which I could eat till I popped if there were enough!
Next was the codfish with hush puppy and veggies for sides. The batter is really unique, smooth textured with almost a funnel cake kick, and again with homemade tartar sauce-

Dogs are allowed!! There is an outdoor patio seating where you can dine with your pet. Cod Fish was light and flaky with a sweet cornbread batter to it. Hash puppies were light and flaky and non-greasy. Baked potato was perfectly baked with all the fixings. Mac and cheese was delicious. Cod Fish sandwich was a large piece of fish, between very soft buns, with lettuce, tomatoe and onion. Reasonably priced, dinner for two under $40. Highly recommend!

Awesome food and service. The food is always consistent and seasonsed perfect. Try their Bang-Bang Shrimp appetizer or for lunch the shrimp and cheesy grits. Amazing stuff!!!!!

Came here Sat night. Great vibe. Great service. The view from the balcony is amazing. Like it so much that I came for late lunch today. The onion rings are the best I have ever had.

Wonderful experience, delicious food. Dined on the outdoor patio with a group of friends, everyone loved their meals. The vegetarians in our party were able to ask the chef to prepare a special tofu dish which he did and served with zucchini and rice. It was so delicious! We loved it! The service was super and they are responsive to your every request. I highly recommend Codfathers, can't wait to go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Bang Bang Shrimp & the Fried Cod Dinner! The service is great & the margaritas & old fashions are on point! Karaoke on Wednesdays & live music on the balcony Thurs.-Sat. evenings & Sunday lunch. We'll definitely put this place in our regular rotation!

Support local Florida families by visiting this family owned and operated business. The food is amazing and mostly locally caught and distributed.

Food & service were fabulous. We enjoyed sitting outside on the upstairs deck.

My boyfriend and I came for dinner and it was FANTASTIC! The food, atmosphere, and service were spectacular. Huge shoutout to the staff for running everything so smoothly.
I got the shrimp dinner with their vegetable medley and cheese grits. The cheese grits were easily some of the best ive ever had. The bang bang sauce was so good. I really loved every bite.
The cod dinner is what my boyfriend got with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was very good and tasted homemade.
I would also like to give a shoutout to the strawberry lemonade; it was truly a star.
We will 100% be back!

Awesome friendly service with a great atmosphere. Large servings of delicious food. I had the Shrimp Dinner Wednesday special everthing was delicious. I'll definitely be back & highly recommend to anyone looking for the most amazing Seafood.

Traveling from Ohio on a Friday during Lent can be difficult. What a gem we found at Godfather's! The food was excellent. My wife had the blackened shrimp dinner and I enjoyed the fried shrimp dinner. Both were outstanding. Shelby, our server, was very attentive and extremely friendly. If you're in the area, you have to stop by. You'll be happy you did

We ordered dinner to go. We had the cheeseburger with onion rings and the chicken sandwich with fries. The burger was huge and delicious. So were the onion rings. You can tell they are made in house. The chicken sandwich was really fresh fried chicken and not a formed patty. The price was very reasonable at $11 per sandwich. We've also had their chicken wings and they are amazing! We will be back for more!

Pulled in at 8:55pm. Despite the kitchen was closed, the owners offered us a few dinner options. We chose salmon, rice & broccoli and enjoyed every bite WHILE WE LISTENED TO TREY TUCKER. Great local musician, incredible hospitality from the owners and the upstairs bar area was filled with super friendly locals. Of course bartenders, Courtney & Ashlyn, kept everyone in high spirits. Although we are not locals, it felt like a private party and we were welcomed 100%.

I wanted to try this new restaurant because me and my husband love seafood. Right when we walked in the atmosphere was so welcoming along with the staff. Our waitress was very bubly and friendly. We were also greeted by the owners and had a nice conversation with them. I ordered the crab legs and shrimp which were cooked perfectly. The lobster bisque was packed with so much flavor. We are definitely coming back to support this local business and we cannot wait to see how they continue to thrive. Thank you for the great experience!

Excellent food and service. Lots of history in that building, and I am so glad they have done such a great job pulling everything together and making a great place to eat, drink, and enjoy live music in downtown Alachua. I got the feeling that they know what they are doing and that they care about their customers. We will be back for sure.

We had a group of 8. Service was excellent - attentive and friendly. The owner checked on us several times and made us feel welcome. Everyone's meals came out together, hot, and delicious. I will definitely be back.

Enjoyed the beer battered cod. Waffle fries were great. Kids tenders looked great and were children approved. Onion rings were great also.
