Small Fry Burgers by The Burger Stand

UPDATE: Management contacted me about my negative experience and made it right. I just finished my redemption meal and it was incredible! The fries were perfectly fresh and tasted wonderful. My Smoke burger was delectable with a great palate of flavors! Service from the young lady bartender was cheerful and added joy to the atmosphere. We will definitely be back for student night again!

I Found this place a few months ago on a recommendation from a friend that lives close by. I really like this place! The food is really good, staff is nice and friendly and they have a good selection of beer and well! It's in a good location by the university so you can indulge your people watching itch like I enjoy doing. Plenty of big windows with several that roll up on nice days to get some fresh air. They also have really good happy hour specials as well. You should stop by and thank me later!😉

This place was awesome and delicious. I stopped by for lunch. Wasn't too saturated with hipsters and thugs. The bartender AJ was very helpful and taught me more about the city and my surroundings. And the food tasted fresh with the juicy burger not making too much off a mess. I'm looking forward to heading back Tuesday for open mic.

A unique burger joint in right across the street from UNM, this place will give you your local burger and beer fix! their menu is unique so be sure to come back and try everything and don't forget about the sauces!

I had a great green chili dog yum. The bartender/ waitress was very nice. She is moving by herself to Olympia, Washington state some time later this year. The food was great.

I came here for the first time and was impressed. The burgers are very tasty. They are a little on the small side, but high quality. The location is awesome, right across from UNM.

Great food experience. Onion rings, fries, burger,hotdog excellent! You can't go wrong no matter what you order!

The green chili burger and fries cooked in duck fat were incredible. I also partook in the garlic aioli and I'm not ashamed to say I took it all (it seemed to be quite popular, but still).

The green Chile burger was delicious. Great environment, great food, great brews.

I got the Classic Burger with Red Chile Seasoned Fries! Basket of fries for 7 seemed over priced. They were good though. The Cashier was great. The bartender should greet everyone as they walk in. I will be back to try the other burgers! Got our food in a timely manner. They also have a condiment area too!

Superb food! The American Kolbe burger is the best I've ever eaten in my life! (No kidding.)

Stopped by on a whim with a friend for a post meeting lunch. Just was completely driving by.

Man it was good, I would easily rank this the best burger in Albuquerque. The sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever had, and the onion rings were on point.

Service was good. The restaraunt was clean. Do yourself and make all of your wildest dreams come true and try it.

Establishment was nice and good customer service was given. I had the fish and chips which was a surprisingly large portion and was very delicious! They have a variety of foods such as burgers, including Kobe which I was told was delicious, salad, shakes and some popular local craft beers. Location is not far from the I 25 and located close to UNM. You can have that dining room experience or sit at the bar, but If you are expecting a place where you will be seated and waited on,....though it may appear as such,....this is not that place. You place your order at the counter, the food will be brought to you and drinks are fountain drinks. Our experience was a good one and would recommend ;)

This place has good gourmet burgers and great shakes. The interior looks nice too! It's in the building next to Dunkin Donuts where the old Donut Mart Cafe used to be. Personally the price is around my acceptable limit for burgers, but the Smoke burger was very tasty.

Hubby and I were craving burgers so we decided to check it out. Burgers were so good. Cooked just right. Prices for the beer were awesome. Low key setting. College guy who served us was super nice.

The food was delicious grilled cheese kids meal that was actually good and done right and green chile cheese fries. The cook knows what he's doing and the food tastes like he enjoys cooking. Thank you D for your patience with my mom brain and friendly customer service!

Greeted by a very cheerful person. Likes her job you can tell. My first time here. Clean and cheery. Booths have lots of room for large families. Ordered at counter and paid right away . menu small but good choice items. I ordered the schroom and swiss. And order of onion rings. Burger big cooked to order was delicious. It included green chili which was a delightful surprise. Buns toasted and sauce was very good. Onion rings were well fryed brown and crisp just the way I liked it. Prices were a little high in comparison to other establishments but the food was hot and terrific.

Really really good burger. I had a green chili cheeseburger with an over easy egg. Everyone tried different fries. The cajun, green chili cheese and chili lime were amazing. The onion rings were good. Got to sample a few beers. And overdid it ...much...with the oreo milkshake. I saw them scooping the ice cream so i knew it was going to be good. You can sit with menu then you walk up to order and they will bring it to you when ready. My brother in law thought they were neglecting coming to our table. Lol. He did not hear him say order here when ready. I will go back for sure. Oh....and parking seems abundant with handicapped parking too.

Great burgers! Good fish and salads and what a great beer selection on tap! Bartender Angel is so delightful I will be back! Edited:: Came in and Angel is gone 😞 new server not so nice.
