Always good food, good service, good atmosphere! Definitely one of our favorite places on the island and somewhere where we take family who are visiting from out of town!

Blue Marlin is an excellent option for an outdoor beach scene with decent seafood. The menu is on the smaller side and the options are pricier than surrounding places. The complimentary edamame was unique and one of favorite parts of our dining experience here.

I highly recommend ordering the shrimp and grits even if you think it is lame to order out since it’s an easy meal to make in your own home. They have some of the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had!

The catch of the day was grouper paired with a pineapple salsa, rice pilaf, and broccoli. This was a good but not spectacular meal and was overall kind of bland.

The lobster grilled cheese was extremely good but would not recommend ordering that at a place like Blue Marlin.

The whole experience was amazing. The food is fresh and all the dishes is especially delicious, I can't describe it in words. The guy who served us was a very nice person. The music and the place is inviting, cozy and relaxing. Highly recommend it.

What an amazing experience! Dined at the bar. Started with a Martini with huge olives that were freshly stuffed with blue cheese and bacon. Best martini I have had anywhere! So enjoyed the blue crab cakes on top of roasted Brussels. And dessert was amazing! Guava Key Lime pie. The service was outstanding. Thank you Hudson for a wonderful dining experience. You can taste the freshness.

This was by far the BEST dining experience my husband & I have experienced! Service was friendly from start to finish! I was thrilled they were able to accomodate our request for reservations on my birthday! Our table side service was thoughtful & thorough. The server answered all our questions on the menu & provided excellent recommendations. The food was exquisite!! The freshest grouper on the island, expertly prepared. The perfectly captured the flavors of summer in their Orange Crème Brûlée and Guava Lime pie! I feel I don't have the vernacular to fully express my experience. So I will say it's rustic costal cottage interior complete with mason jars, gallery of local fisherman & familes won my heart, & their kitchen captivated my tastebuds! Best birthday dinner thus far! We will certainly be back for more! Bravo Blue Marlin!

Awesome food and service here!! All the staff was great tonight, and the owner Adam is genuine and nice! Everything tasted great, but we all were raving over the shrimp dip!! Great stuff!!

if youre a seafood lover, go to blue marlin!! you can start your afternoon window shopping on bridge street and make your way toward the best seafood restaurant on Anna Maria island. there's a small tiki hut bar and live music outside if you want to get a drink before dinner. but if you're looking for a full cocktail menu, order inside the restaurant. we had palomas, espresso martinis and a citrus IPA. our server (drew) gave us excellent recommendations and top notch service. we even got a bowl of edamame on the house and drew brought us extra garlic breads to nibble on.

the restaurant is inside a charming 1920s cottage and it has so much character. if you're dining on a friday/saturday night, i recommend making reservations ahead of time to ensure you get a table inside. we ordered the blue marlin cioppino, lobster bisque, potato soup and a large house salad to split. 😊

Great dinner with group of four. The pecan crusted black grouper was fresh and delicious. Service was on point; very professional, fast and friendly. We sat inside by the bar, cocktails were excellent. We are locals and love this place. Make reservations early, it’s worth it.

Excellent experience however beware that if you pay by credit card a surcharge is applied. In my case this amounted to 50% of the tax. Nobody brings this to notice. I will not hesitate to go back but will pay cash in future. There is an ATM machine on the premises.

A much needed experience!!! The food was amazing! For the appetizer the crab cakes were perfection accompanied with brussel sprouts in a sauce, all went together perfectly. I had the Grouper entree with vegetables and rice. It was cooked just right!
The customer service was 10/10 the bartender sent out a free martini sample that was delicious, they served me edamame as a pre appetizer snack. The waiter checked in often to see how I was doing and if I was enjoying the food. I would suggest sitting outside, I had the entire outdoors to myself. It was a perfect dinner experience!

Great place!! Food was delicious, came to AMI for 7 nights on our honeymoon, came here 3 times. Must try the burger, pecan crusted grouper, and the crab cakes. Staff was great as well!

Still great. Our waiter was Hudson. I think he is also the bartender. Service was fantastic. The Alfredo special with Black Grouper was amazing. My wife and I added a lobster tail and split it. My father-in-law has the seafood stew and lived it.

Great food. Great atmosphere. First Friday had a great bluegrass band. I would have liked to have had mixed drink, but beer and wine only. Snapper and grouper were out of this world.

Delicious food! The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the fettuccine was so so good. What a great combination. The dish was nicely plated. Great service. The garlic bread appetizer was nice too.

Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Food was awesome I had the whole fried snapper and wife had the crab cakes.. both really good.

Cozy atmosphere, amazing food, and they gave us a small glass of champagne to commemorate our 18th wedding anniversary. Thank you Blue Marlin!

We made reservations for Friday evening. The stone crab crab cakes are a must. The shrimp and grits had an amazing sauce. Cute atmosphere!

The food was amazing, and the bar tender was helpful and a bunch of laughs. He fit right into our crazy group. The burger was the best I ever had, and my friends thought the lobster Mac n cheese was beyond delicious!! 5 stars definitely!!

Really comfortable setting. Amazing craft cocktails. Had the shrimp and grits and the linguine with clams. Seafood was local and oh so fresh! Service was amazing. Live music a well.. We will definitely return.

The food was amazing. The presentation was something I have not seen in the serving of some foods

The quaint cottage feel was great for our anniversary celebration.

The staff was friendly but they could have been a bit more attentive.
