Muang Thai Restaurant

This place is wonderful! I have never been here before. We had such great food, great service and the food was very fast! We ate almost all the food. We were so full. Just delicious!

Drove 45min just to finally be able to eat here. Checked the Facebook page to make sure they were open. Got here at 6:30p and there was the sign on the door. Went inside and they said they were closing soon. Hours said until 9pm.

Was in town for grocery shopping so decided to try again. So incredibly happy we gave it another shot. The rolls were phenomenal. My husband had the pho. Will be going again when we're in town. Better than Akame in flavor and price when you do their Friday special!

Went to Muang Thai and ordered the Blazing Shrimp. They offer 5 levels of spice: Mild, medium, spicy, Thai spicy, and one spicier than that but I don’t remember what it was called because I wouldn’t dare consider it for myself 😂 I ordered mine at “spicy” level with a side of plain fried rice and I loved it!! You got quite a few (as seen in the photo, approximately 10-12) of good sized, properly cooked shrimp and some lightly sautéed, still crisp veggies, exactly how I like them. Not pictured was a side of rice which was very large. My daughter and I ended up sharing this meal because I ended up bringing home half- it was more than enough to feed us both.

I would say the spice level I chose was at the top of my tolerance level but no complaints as I hate when I order “spicy” food that is bland. Definitely not the case here. Next time I will likely order medium as after eating a few bites the heat just took over my mouth, but this did make me eat slower so maybe not a bad thing?

I also tried my husbands teriyaki chicken a which was also delicious. It was cooked perfectly and very flavorful and his portion was also large.

In addition to awesome food, the service was great too. Prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was nothing fancy but it was clean. There is plenty of parking and it is wheelchair accessible.

Great family owned business serving authentic Thai cuisine. Seriously, stop being so Midwest and TRY something unique! You won't regret it here. Great prices, high quality and friendly service. Very good, very authentic, very unusual for the Eau Claire area. Outstanding!

I had the crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli - it was great! I did add peanuts and hot chili oil to it. I love that we have a really good place in town to get authentic food.

The egg rolls stood for themselves as tasting like homemade. You get 4/5.00. they are served with sweet and sour sauce and peanut sauce. Sauces weren't needed unless you wanted

This is a family restaurant and you can tell as they put out excellent food. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped by Muang Thai every time my family & I drive thru Eau Claire. We live in St Paul, MN. The owner always makes something new for us to try. They have a wide variety of entree selections as well as appetizers. Their sushi are always made fresh! My favorite daily special has to be the Baked Mussels with sticky rice!

Could barely take photos before we started eating it was so appetizing. I love this place. I just saw they have an unlimited sushi special I'll have to try. The Thai tea was amazing, the apps are amazing, we got the house roll sushi, mussels, and spring rolls

Excellent food in a family friendly environment! The prices are amazing for the quality of food. Their daily deals are all really good, especially the Saturday deal of the House Roll. Me and my girlfriends first visit was perfect and will definitely go their again!

We've been out of town. Spending time where exciting food options abound. I'm picky, I care not about ambiance..if the Cusine is as it is,as fineas served here; I'd order from under a bridge. Moderately priced, generous portions and a comfortable atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing, authentic food. The sushi rolls were divine. I can't believe that this hidden gem exists in Eau Claire!! We went based on a recommendation and the food did not disappoint. Will be a repeat date-night!

Wow was that good chicken curry pad Thai. Loved it. Service was great and all the food at our table was awesome. We will be back!

The House Roll was the special (Saturday) and it was very good! One of the best sushis I've ever had! The Pho was okay though but still a very nice experience!

Definitely my go to spot for their pad thai!. One of the best in the city. Their pho is also a hit along with many other dishes. Atmosphere is great and service is definitely up to par. Want some quality asian food or delicious sushi? Muang Thai is the place to go.

Food was great, ambience and service is good.. Call ahead of time to make a reservation, they usually are pretty booked.

I got the recommendation from a local and I will definitely go again! The owner and Chef was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He greeted you right when you walked in and let me modify one of the menu items to suit my taste. The price was also well worth it. If you're in the area lunch is the best time to go.

First time here... order for take out only but the food is on point and amazing.

Very good, filling food. It was a pleasure to eat here, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The food was not too heavy but very satisfying. I recommend having some Nam Vah for dessert on a hot day, as it is very refreshing.

The food is amazing, and you have many options to pick from. It has the atmosphere of a small little cafe. Staff is very friendly, and you are actually waited on, not just go-to the counter and order your food. We've been there twice now, and plan to go more often when we are in the area.

This place is great, but way too expensive. I ordered 2 apps and an order of rice and it ran me $30. This is insane guys…
