Shendell Law Firm was instrumental in recent weeks dealing with a rogue management company that had attempted to cancel our Annual Election.They directed this company to re-mail notices and ballots to members, provide proof of mailings, and an updated roster that showed multiple errors. The roster errors had allowed the management company to keep members in the dark, and avoid having a quorum. Annual Meeting was held with Shendell Law overseeing the LCAM, their presence kept the process moving with a successful conclusion. Condo Law is a rough and tumble business when dealing with shady Property Managers, and condo owners who in many case don’t participate then complain once a year. As an owner I was guilty of that ambivalence, no more. I encourage all owners to get involved, work with the board, monitor dealings, and talk with your neighbors, information is vital in a condo.
