I went in to renew my tags the other day and everyone was very friendly and professional! The ladies went out of their way to ensure everything was taken care of for me. There was an issue with renewing one of my old trailer tags and Ms. Akins came out and resolved it very quickly. Great customer service in this office!

I live in FL but I purchased a scooter in Statesboro, GA. I had difficulties getting my scooter licensed here and Leslie Akins went out of her way to help me and because of her help I was finally able to get my scooter titled and tagged! This would not have been possible without her help!

I’m just moving back to Statesboro and remember the old office they had at the old building. Definitely a lot more spacious than before. I came in right at lunch time and thought it was going to be a nightmare. I was pleasantly surprised to see four (I think) windows open. There were about 7 people in line with all windows occupied. I then thought again it wasn’t going to go well but the line moved very quickly and I was in and out MUCH faster than I originally anticipated. Person I dealt with was pleasant, got me taken care of, and I was on my way!

Just went in to renew vehicles and camper tags. "KJ" has excellent customer service skills, very efficient, made a dreaded experience (spending money $$$ on tags) very quick and pleasurable. Kudos ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

No more hello, thank you, or smiles here anymore.. Phones ringing non-stop as others walk around doing nothing. Very rude on my recent visit because I simply disputed their tax value (2x higher than my provided paid receipt). I wont mention names... Very sad and disappointing...

Incompetent. No help when it comes to tracking down tags/plates not received the mail. Spoke with whoever on the phone (african american lady) and was told I could come in for my plates. When I get there it was a different story...being told she thought I had not received my decal. That's a lie because not once during that phone conversation did I say "decal." Attempt to cover her behind and the wrong assumption she made...I don't even refer to it as a decal...I always say sticker (WHICH I NEVER SAID DURING THE PHONE CONVERSATION) I specifically said TAG not received during the phone convo..was told it was mailed out on the 6th of March but get in office, they say issued on the 10th...conflicting info. After a huddle among themselves for a few minutes, not knowing what to do...one saying "I don't know"...this that... they kept putting the blame on someone named, Trudy who processes the online renewals....throwed her under the bus multiple times and never took accountability themselves. Apparently, Trudy was nowhere around...so they saw fit to blame her, I guess. Makes no sense why something as important as a tag isn't mailed out with tracking numbers...negligent. Kept saying "The State issues the tags...out of our hands." Left there with a registration decal which is useless without the new specialty tag! Not like the decal can be used for my current/old tag because I have been assigned a new plate number...smh. I see the new tag number in the GA Drives online system....but where's the tag/plate??? No way for it to be tracked. Just all around incompetence.
