I want to personally thank Derrick and his crew with the Roads and Bridges department for handling our drainage situation at the corner of Charlotte and East Bay Boulevard. They went above and beyond to address our problem. Hats off to you and all of our County workers!!!!........Jeffrey

Wow. Ricky and Doug were in our neighborhood to work on our drainage ditches today. Amazing and about as perfect as ditches can be! We are so impressed with the department. First contact, Sherry, is friendly and welcoming and Doug and Ricky are very professional with maximum attention to detail. Thank you all for making our day great!

Our street floods every time it rains. Over the past three years, many of us have put in multiple work orders and received the majority of the usual excuses. The standing water takes close to 1 1/2 months to go away and the city ignoring this issue is allowing mosquitoes and other insects to breed creating more problems down the line. Public works needs to start doing what their name says…working for the public and be held accountable for anything less than that

I’ve put in several requests over the past year for this drainage ditch beside my house to be maintained. It is so overgrown that the culvert pipes are almost completely blocked by vegetation. My email to Colton Wright regarding this issue was also ignored. This ditch caused my house to flood in 2014. They don’t care. I’m not a developer. I guess I need to rent a D.R. field and brush mower from my county commissioner’s tool rental business and do it myself.

Request for clearing intersection of Gardenview St & Greenfield for years results in mowing of grass. Bushes and trees obstructing view are left to grow. Traffic must stop at sign and pull forward to see if there is oncoming traffic.

Very disappointing experience with the SRB Public Works Dept. In building a new home in HBTS. Poor communication which cost me several hundred dollars out of pocket. Even when a mistake was made they all support each other. From the director down.

You pay $10.50 an hour? Wow. Where do my tax dollars go? I made that in the late 80s waiting tables at a truck stop. You should be ashamed. No wonder no one is applying...shame
