CellarMasters Wine Bar and Bottle Shop

Love this little gem. I don’t know jack about wine but good thing that they do! And they do it without any pretentiousness. Every recommendation is spot on and so delicious. The space is very cute and romantic for an outing inside or outside. You can also browse around their amazing wine shop too.

This is a really awesome but very unique wine and bottle shop. You can buy wine to go or stick around and buy it by the glass or bottle. The guys that run the place are very unique and extremely knowledgeable. Don't think twice about asking for their opinions on what to get. They've got pretty good prices and there's an amazing spot out back. Make sure you draw on the tables.

This place is the best. The shop is always exciting with new and exciting stuff all the time.
The indoor bar is an oasis for me - dark, cool, good wine, the music is always great.
I wish it were my house.

CellerMasters Review

Kory (co-owner) always validates, refines, deepens and indulges my eclectic sensibilities for food + wine without didacticism. Though I am very much an amateur home chef with a ton of prerequisites (how I ended up at a minimally processed mostly biodynamic organic wine shop in the first place), Kory takes me seriously and appreciates the magic in the details that I bring to the table.

Every visit to his shop is a short master class in achieving the perfect pairing. I bring him textures (e.g. silkly), moods (e.g. elated), and descriptions of the food, spices, cooking methods. Kory brings me options that somehow embody both the practical & creative sides of making a meal, the expression of community & individualism that come out in a meal, and the simplicity of tasting delicious together when enjoying a meal.

One can only achieve the grace that CellerMasters embodies after practicing, grinding, intelligently failing, reflecting, laughing, dedicating one’s self to a craft, making hard choices and sacrifices. A recommendation I can trust.

Wine knowledge aside, the most pronounced signal for me of their mastery of wine is the continually playing rap music in the shop. This shows me that the founders of CellerMasters are such aficionados of their craft, that they can fully express themselves without permission or pretense. A state of being we all want to achieve in our own way. My easy, meaningful, joyful conversations about pairings amongst rap music has served as inspiration to keep going on my own food + wine journey.

This place is so dreamy. The wine bar feels like your grandmothers basement (very That 70s Show), it’s sooooo cozy and fun. And then there’s the bartenders - you don’t get a menu, you tell them what you’re in the mood for and they give you options to try until you find that perfect glass. For wine enthusiasts this is so fun bc you get to explain the notes or varietals that you like. It’s just so good. Pricing is pretty standard IMO - I had 3 glasses of wine and my bill was $30. And of course there’s also their amazing wine shop as well which is so fun to go through and look to discover fun new wines (or to purchase a wine you feel in love with at the bar). Seriously, go here. I can’t recommend it enough!

First time there, I didn’t know what to expect. The outside of the building is not impressive, good or bad. When I stepped through the door, I was very much impressed with the vast selection of bottles and the cute and comfortable lounges.
I don’t remember the persons name that served us, but he selected for me, my now favorite white wine, a 2019 Macon Villages. I bought 2. After looking through the internet to see if I could get a better price, the less expensive was only $3 less without the shipping so CellarMasters is well priced.

BEST wine shop. Love the owners - they always help me pick out the best bottles. Love the atmosphere - comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Love the unpretentious high quality wine experience. <3

Hands down the best wine bar/shop in town ....any town, actually. Have yet to encounter a place with such a chill, casual, comfortable vibe run by people with such deep, deep knowledge of the grapes. Their palates and personalities make it one of the best visits in St. Pete.

If you want an excellent glass of wine, come here. They don’t have their own food but you can bring food in with you. The bar tenders are very knowledgeable about wines and will help you find the perfect glass and give you samples before you commit. The atmosphere is really cozy with fun decor.

This is why we live in St Pete. Local wine shop and bar. Local owners that love wine and are not the least bit pretentious. Tell them what you like and they will pour you a taste and like magic, it's nearly always exactly what you wanted. Buy a bottle, buy a glass. Great bottle prices on 'best kept secret' wines. 3 areas to chill plus the shop: main area, retro and bustling with life. Loungy quiet room with velvet paintings. And outdoor space with a CD boombox to play your own sounds. Indoors, always great music-- until closing time when I think they are scaring me off in a delicate subtle way with country. Visit and support!

Love this place!!! Outstanding selection of under $20 wines, as well as some posh offerings. Beautiful rotating selection curated by two cool really kind guys with over 30 cumulative years experience in the wine industry. It’s so refreshing to walk into a wine shop & know that anything you buy will be delicious. This is a gem you will not want to miss!

We’ve been to this place several times. It has a hand picked selection of bottles of wine for purchase while also featuring a bar. The bar does not have a wine list. Your best bet is to ask the bartenders on what is good today. They have both been well trained in the wine industry. This is a nice chill place to hang out and have a glass of wine or two.

They are a combination of a wine bottle shop and a bar where you can taste just about anything in the store. The two owners are quite knowledgable about wine and have extensive industry experience. We love sitting in the wine bar and being able to chat with them about wine. They specialize in wine that's not overly popular so they really have some unique finds. They alone have brought many different wines into the state of Florida which means you'll not find many of their wines anywhere else. All of their wine prices are quite reasonable. They don't serve food, so if you are hungry be sure to bring some with you or have something delivered. Try them out today.

Love this place! If you're looking for a break from big wine companies and want to get some stellar sub $20 dollar bottles - you gotta come check this out. Corey and Ryan are incredibly knowledgable about all the wines that they carry in the shop and are able to tell you about the maker, region, flavor profiles and more. They take the time to get to know what you like in a wine and are able to make great suggestions. Every wine that Corey has suggested has been absolutely outstanding! Thanks for making such a great spot and experience guys!

What a fabulous addition to the Edge District and all of St Pete! Fantastic service, great prices and a funky cool environment that just screams 'this place is the real deal.'
We've already enjoyed several new (to us) bottles of reds & bubbles, and without this shop we never would've had the access and advice to even try them.
Ryan and Kory don't just talk about offering Real Wine, they deliver. They'll spend time actually getting to know you, your tastes, your degree of adventurousness,, your preferences and your budget. Then they'll show you options that are wayyyyy beyond the standard corporate wines sold by all the other stores.
When we go to CellarMasters we feel like friends, family even, and the experience is both refreshing and genuine. Cheers!

My boyfriend and I have been here 3 times already and have only experienced delicious wines. If you want the experience of fine wine without the hefty price, take a visit. They have wines for all price points and tastes.
10/10 recommended to anyone. If you don’t think that you like wine...try again.

This wine bar is amazing. I'm not from here and Sidney was amazing! Recommended places in buckhead and now I'm a wine expert! God is good!
