Anna Maria Island Getaway

Our stay at Island Getaway was AMAZING! We stayed in #4 Seaclusion and it was perfect for our family of 5. the outdoor shower is located on the back corner of this unit, so it was really nice and easy to rinse off after beaching it. The unit was well cleaned and stocked, we really appreciated the beach towels and ALL of the beach supplies! The courtyard was beautiful! we loved sitting out there in the evenings under the lights. Chris was superb with her hospitality! She helped me several times when I reached out prior to the trip with a couple different concerns and had a brand new pack n play and high chair ready for me to use upon request. This place made our beach experience INCREDIBLE! Literally so close to the beach, which was so nice to not have to fight traffic or parking and be able to come back to eat lunch at our house instead of packing it all. I highly recommend Island Getaway and would 100% stay here again!!

Excellent!!. Stone throw to the beach and wonderful location in proximity to restaurants. Alot was included for our convenience. The mattress was very comfortable. The room was clean. Beach towels and beach chairs were also provided. Very nice!!

I would highly recommend Island Getaway, even though the weather was colder and rainier than we had hoped. When my daughter's flight was rescheduled to arrive later in the day, Chris let me check in early so I would have a few hours before I had to go out in traffic to pick her up. We stayed in Sea Gem, a one bedroom, one bath unit that was very nice. Chris even came over to help me locate where the heck a beeping noise was coming from. We decided to unplug the microwave (just in case) and then she discovered that the dishwasher had been left on with the door open. She saved my sanity and was so nice about everything.

This was my second time at Island Getaway and I love it! We stayed in #4 this time The Seaclusion it was awesome!!! We all had comfy beds and plenty of room, it was super clean and we loved the screened in porch!!!! Love that they have beach chairs and umbrellas and that outdoor shower was awesome after a long day at the beach. Location is amazing and everything you need is supplied for your! Love this place!

I want to say a big Thank You to Mark from beginning to end throughout the booking process of this property. It was smooth sailing from the day I requested to book to the day we arrived. Excellent communication from Mark with detailed information on how to check in, check out, and full of other important information. I asked a lot of questions, and Mark always answered them promptly.

My wife and I stayed from 4/27 to 5/3. We just arrived back home 4 hours ago, and now I am writing this review because its all worth it. We were able to meet Mark's wife and son. Wonderful family. They were nearby in their own unit, and never intrusive. The unit has a courtyard which is shared by other unit renters. THE COURTYARD IS BEAUTIFUL. Mark did a really nice job with all the decors. We felt like we were in a nature private getaway due to the way the palm trees etc were set up in the courtyard. Very green and nature like. There were two grills, tables, chairs. grilling utensils etc. Just enough for everyone to enjoy themselves. My wife and I was able to grill out two meals while we were there. Even though the courtyard are shared with other units, every time we were in the courtyard to grill, or hangout, it was just us. Very private feel.

The kitchen is beautiful with nice appliances, quality granite counters, and great looking cabinets. All the cooking utensils are there with spices, virgin oil, pots, pans, and so on. My wife was able to cook us dinner for two of the nights there. The bed was very comfortable!! There are tvs in every room. The main living room has a 50" tv. Wifi works fast! I was mainly using wifi whenever I am in the unit. It has great range too because when I was in the courtyard, I was able to pick up the signal from there.

Other items like beach towels, bath towels, soap, shampoo etc were provided. Also, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, beach cart were provided as well for beach activities. The beach is right across the street from the unit. Basically the property is near the beach, local restaurants, and shops. Great location!! My wife and I love traveling, and honestly this property is one of the best we stayed at. Clean, quiet, comfortable, convenient.

I am very grateful to have find this rental, and can't thank Mark enough throughout the entire process. Thank you for opening up your doors for us. We greatly appreciated it! We will be back for sure! 5 Stars indeed!

Just Wonderful. Clean, very nice place with everything you need. Relaxing, quiet. I stayed in unit #5, 2nd Floor. Steps from the beach, from Trolley Stop, just perfect to relax and unwind.

Island Getaway is so dear to my heart! We’ve been every year for about 5 years. Never go anywhere else. The location is perfect to the beach and shops and restaurants close enough to walk. They have thought of everything including stocked pots and pans for cooking, bbq grills, beach towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, etc… This is the best place to stay on the island!

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The units were clean and sanitized. There is plenty of towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, etc. The courtyard is peaceful and beautifully decorated. We had an awesome time and will definitely be back next year with the whole family. I would like to say a special thank you to Chris as there was a small issue with the air conditioning and she was very attentive and was on it as soon as I messaged her. She was there first thing in the morning (I messaged her at 10 pm) with a repairman to fix the a/c. The beach is beautiful and only one minute walk. The intercoastal water is also a one minute walk. You can walk to down town in about 7 minutes or ride the free island trolley (I also recommend to see the whole island). All this information is there at your fingertips at check in. Kitchen is stocked with all the necessities for cooking. The gas grills outside are kept up nicely and clean. I cannot say enough about this place. You must go see for yourself. 100 percent worth it!!!!!! Thank you for the great vacation!!!!!

I wanted to get this out before our visit fades to a distant memory. Steph and I recently stayed at Unit 5 - Island Hideaway at the Island Getaway in Anna Marie Island. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and spent until Tuesday over Labor Day Weekend. Steph had stayed at the Island Getaway in another unit with girlfriends but this was my first visit to Anna Marie and the Island Getaway. I could not have been more pleased with the whole experience. We dealt primarily with Chris scheduling our trip and she was always polite and accommodating. We were not sure the trip would happen with the recent hurricane just moving through the area and Chris was able to confirm that they had come through in good shape and there was no damage to the property and that indeed turned out to be the case. The weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Shops and restaurants were open for business and the beaches were busy. The Island Getaway was a treat. Our room exceeded all expectations, the courtyard is an awesome, private retreat from the goings on in the area. We would have our morning coffee there before walking down to the end of the road to the dock overlooking the bay or just across the street to the beautiful beach. Bridge Street was a short walk down the street to local restaurant's and shopping. We were provided with beach chairs, cart, umbrella, and boogie boards as part of staying at the Island Getaway. Our unit was clean, updated, well stocked with all the accessories we would need should be want to prepare meals at the unit. We had multiple televisions, movies, books and puzzles. The courtyard also had ample Weber gas grills to be used by anyone staying at the complex. There were washers and dryers available to us at no charge which we took advantage of prior to coming home. The complex does not have a pool but we were more than willing to trade that amenity for the private courtyard and mere steps away from the beach. We are definitely planning on visiting Anna Maria Island again and when we do it will be with Chris and Island Getaway. Thank you for an awesome experience Chris and we will see you next year.

Wow! I wish we could have stayed longer. Super comfortable, everything was clean and orderly. The amenities were amazing! Gas firepit, Propane grill, Wifi, a TV with service in just about every room. Steps away from a dock to catch the sunrise and just across the street from Cortez beach to catch the sunset. Definitely recommending to friends and wanting to come back!

This rental was perfect for me and my family in every aspect. The distance to the beach is steps away. If you want to go to a beach with more amenities Coquina Beach Park is just down the road and it's a personal favorite beach park. We were able to walk to Bridge St and enjoy their shops and restaurants finding a new place to eat every day. The small resorts felt cozy and warm. The suite had some of the most modern amenities without losing the feel of staying at an rustic house. Rooms were clean and comfortable and with plenty of beach equipment to take you don't have to bring much more than just just bathing suit. We will definitely be coming back to Island Getaway.

This is our home away from home! We’ve been 3 times this year alone. The view from the dock, which is just a few steps away from our front door, is breathtaking. Our room is always neatly decorated and clean. The washer and dryer next to our unit is so handy especially after a sandy beach day. The courtyard is relaxing and quiet. The totes of beach toys and umbrellas for the kids are just a reminder of how well thought out this place is. There literally are no negatives, so you must visit. Ask for Mark, he will get you taken care of. We will ALWAYS be back.

Just got here and it's beautiful. Love the place. Great spacious kitchen for cooking, big comfortable bed, all the extras for the beach. The parking is great. Extra space for each vehicle and right at the door . New appliances and the air conditioning system works great. I would give this place 5 thumbs 👍.

This was our first time on Anna Maria island and we stayed at Island Getaway. Mark was easy to work with, and was quick to respond to any questions. It was so nice to be able to walk to Bridge Street and all of the restaurants there. It was a great experience and would highly recommend! We loved our time on the island!

Beautiful location, 3 minute access to beach, sunsets are amazing, ALL appliances available for use including washer and dryer, bed was very comfortable, Kitchen was very nice, 2 TVs, small shower but I was grateful to have one, unit stayed cool and comfortable, access to BBQ and patio furniture on a beautiful patio. WE WILL DEFINATELY BE GOING BACK!! : )

We just spent four days at Island Getaway rentals and it was fantastic. Just steps from the beach and bay. There were six of us and we stayed in the three bedroom unit. It was so beautiful and Mark was such a gracious and accommodating host. He takes such great care of the property. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay on the island you should definitely check this place out. Thanks Mark!

Very nice setup in a very good location. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Easy walk to beaches and bridge street and the courtyard is great for hanging out and grilling. We will be back again

Amazing stay from the minute we walked in! Everything I wished and more! From the bottle of wine to the spice rack, coffee & water. Beach chairs, towels, etc.

2nd time staying here. Great place and location. Will be staying here again.
