I called in for a pick up. I had to give my card information over the phone, I'm assuming because it was expensive and wanted to make sure it was paid for, I'm not sure. The food was delicious. That sauce in the Chicken Makhani, I couldn't get enough of it. My chicken was tender but a tad bit underseason for my preference. I loved the Garlic Naan. This was my 1st time eating Indian food and I am glad I found this restaurant because it is other things I want to try on the menu when I go back to Statesboro.

My wife and I dropped by the Tandoor and tap yesterday, and I must say the experience was outstanding. The service ( Cat ) was nothing less than excellent. She attended to our needs with an exceptional attitude and knowledge of the cuisine. The food was of the best quality that we've had the pleasure to enjoy. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Two thumbs up!

I eat here every time I visit Statesboro, about once a month, and it is always one of the high-points that my friends and I talk about before each visit.

The food is consistently spectacular, some of the best Indian I've had the opportunity to enjoy and at a quality of both taste and presentation that punches way above it's price point. The fact that I can get a delicious meal and beautifully made cocktail for half what the same meal would cost me elsewhere, right in my small home town, is incredible.

If you are in town visiting or live here and have the opportunity to try it, it is arguably the best restaurant in town by nearly any metric.

Now those who know me know I love Indian food and I was in despair when I moved from Atlanta because I thought I would not be able to find good Indian food in such a small town! Happy to say I was absolutely wrong! My food and service was absolutely amazing! The Bartender Mya was so friendly and took her time to explain to us the menu options and did not make me feel bad about being such a chatter box! This is a super cute place to hang out with friends , grab a quick drink, or enjoy a date night! I had the Lamb Biryani, chicken samosas, and Garlic naan! It was a little spicy but divine!

The Gobi Manchurian is one of the best dishes I've EVER eaten!! There isn't a picture because it was gone so quickly! The server was friendly and attentive and the food was ready quickly! Love this place!

One of my favorite places in Statesboro!

Environment is always friendly & inviting! The service and staff is excellent. I haven't had the chance to experience much Indian cuisine, so I'm warming up to full curry dishes, but this is place is awesome! Definitely recommend!

Moscow Mule, Samosas, Garlic Cheese Naan, and Chicken Tikka Masala are my go to dishes but I honestly haven't had a bad dish from here.

Excellent experience all around!
The space is lovely, great atmosphere, very clean (there's a step up into the restaurant, so be careful!)
The staff is very welcoming, super friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu.
We dined inside, but there is a very nice back patio, as well.

The menu: OMG! So many tempting offerings, it was difficult to make a decision!
We started with two appetizers:
Garlic cheese naan - stuffed with cheese and topped with ghee, fresh
minced garlic and cilantro. This was incredible. I could exist on this bread alone forever.
The other app we shared was the vegetable samosas - two deep fried turnovers stuffed with seasoned potatoes, and green peas. Also very good.
We each ordered a cocktail, Coffee Masala, which was amazing! Bourbon, demerara syrup, coffee and cream topped with cinnamon (I think) and pistachio crumbles. It was absolutely yummy, but I would recommend this for after-dinner, as it's hot and would be the PERFECT finish to a great meal.
They have a very enticing bar menu and I look forward to going back and trying their other specialty cocktails. They also carry a nice selection of local bottled brews and a house-special on tap.
For our entree, we both ordered the half chicken tandoori. The presentation is lovely - roasted in their clay oven and served on a sizzling platter.
Everything is a la carte, so we ordered delicious Basmati Jeera Rice - cooked with cumin seeds and whole spices tempered in ghee.

The serving sizes are pretty large (they make everything "family style" so there's plenty to share; the half chicken tandoori dish could easily feed two people. I brought home enough leftovers to have another dinner!

Prices are VERY reasonable, especially considering the amount of food you get.

We were so impressed with everything that we are already planning to go back next week.

Wow, if a sixth star was available, I would tap it. I had the shrimp curry and chicken chili as an appetizer. Sooo good. Ashley was the best. So good I forgot to take pictures of the food.

The food is amazing. They have so many flavors. My favorite so far is the Paneer. Its cheese and then get it with a tomato sauce and Naan and you have yourself pizza ingrediants! Yum. And theres a lunch buffet a few days a week that has changing entrees. There were 3 or 4 entrees last time I went and little appetizers and dessert at the bar. It's one of my favorite places now. Oh and seating has a dining room with low seats, bar seating, and outdoor seating.

First visit to Tandoor and Tap and really enjoyed it! Excellent whiskey selection for Statesboro and the food was great... pay attention to the spice levels as it can get spicy! The garlic cheese naan is awesome! The bar area has a nice low key vibe and be sure to check out the bottom fill draft beer!

Absolutely delicious food! Best Indian food I have eaten. I was pleasantly surprised at the tasty food at this spot. We came from orlando fl and Puerto Rico for some personal affairs locally and tried out this spot and we were not disappointed

Excellent Indian food, for anywhere, especially Statesboro. The lamb Korma is the perfect balance of creamy and spicy. Addictive. Great naan and veggie samosas. Eaten here twice. Consistent. I’ll be back for more.

Can we talk!?! Statesboro, you are on the map with this restaurant. Let’s break it down. Bar: craft cocktails are A+, would not have expected the level of mixology (Garret the bartender). Unique liquors and infusions (house made kiwi-mint purée, pineapple chili syrup, fresh hand-whipped cream, etc.) being used for the cocktails. And reasonably priced. Happy hour cocktails are just $6 daily from 4-7 PM, and all day Sunday! That’s insane! Settle down, let’s talk about food: I cook and do mixology at home, and have tried Indian food in US, Trinidad, many parts of India, England, Germany, and T&T has the second best butter garlic naan I have ever tasted. Shut up and sit down! The lamb korma was absolutely wonderful. The lamb was tender, the sauce well-balanced, not too mild, not too spicy. I wish I could have three stomachs to eat more dishes. It seems the chefs are from Punjab, and it shows. Best money spent in a University town. Sadly, they are closed on Mondays, so check yourself for availability.

We have an Indian restaurant y'all!!! Ok so first time I have Indian. I just wanted to try everything but this is what we got. Paneer Pakora, Biryani, garlic naan and tandoori chicken. It... Was .... So..... Amazing!!!!!! I was not a fan of the Paneer Pakora but everything else was just oh so yummy. I went to pick up the food and they were so nice and kind. Will definitely be going back to try different dishes.

Just opened and I'm so happy to have an Indian restaurant in Statesboro! Like most Indian restaurants the menu is a la carte and with most items in the $14 and up range, it can get pricey with a number of dishes. However portions are large so it's a great place to share a meal of multiple dishes with friends.

I had lunch of vegetable samosas (two) with mint chutney and tamarind sauce and vegetable biryani (rice) with raita both of which were tasty. The biryani was enough for three people and could easily stretch to five with other dishes. I took leftovers home.

The owner told me a lunch buffet is planned but Covid pandemic has put a pause to those plans.

The restaurant has three main areas: dining tables, bar, and covered outdoor patio.

Great first experience here since they just opened. Tried the tandoori chicken, garlic naan, and gulab jamun, each of which I would recommend. Personally the tandoori chicken was the best individual component, having a great spice (flavor, not heat) and a solid portion size. Overall, great to have an Indian restaurant to add some flair and diversity to food options in town. Would highly recommend and will go back to try more of the menu.
