Terrible customer service. They will hit you with surprise charges in Miami that are apparently Customs and Border Patrol’s new regulations without including that in your initial quote. I had a piano shipped from Aruba to Kentucky through them and they charged me an extra $5000. Do not recommend them at all.

Absolutely the worst moving experience ever. Started bad in Costa Rica with Transtica and just kept getting worse.

Do not use TRANSTICA of Costa Rica, JD BROKERS of Miami, or SEABOARD MARINE shipping service. Throw your belongings away and buy new ones. Yes, it's that bad. Why? Well first of all they have terrible office people who use email as if it were a chat service, and respond to random emails within the chain. Looking at you Hellen! Then when their boss figures it out, he goes and lights a fire under someone and then goes back to playing FreeCell or whatever, because unless you complain LOUDLY nothing gets done. Here's one for you Luigi! And from the beginning they wouldn't give me a straightforward and honest quote, and wouldn't do ANYTHING until I had deposited the full amount (around $2000 over what they were estimating BTW, and my house was open for them to count/weigh whatever they wanted), you'd think that would be bad. But wait, there's more! Once they had my money they started harassing me for loads of paperwork that no one could explain until I "did it wrong" (Wendy sent me a form I had already filled in and told me I had to to it again, so I did...on the form she sent). Then they ran me around and hurried me up so I had to send the paperwork express mail to Miami. So...is that bad? Well lets see...Today is the 22nd of August, and they said it would be to me "by about the 11th". So...10 days lost, I had to stay in a hotel because my house isn't ready and they would not transparently tell me when the cargo would arrive. When I called Orlando Vasquez in Miami he said, "oh no worries! If the date isn't good for you we will work with you to change it". Yeah, SO NOT TRUE. Orlando ignored an email from me saying that if they could guarantee the drop off it was fine, but if not I had to change it. And it's not here. Now, aside from my bad experience in hiring this company at all...I had to change the address of the storage unit to one, quite literally, down the street. So on top of everything they're charging me $200 more, in addition to the nearly $7,000 this has already cost me, to change an address on a form. Finally, because I did not pay their damn fee within two hours they started harassing with emails and threatening to charge me $150 a day to store the container that had already been delivered. Looking at you, YANEL of SEABOARD. Seriously, I am not a litigious person, but I am planning on suing these companies. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROMISE THE MOON AND STARS WHILE DOING NOTHING. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP! STAY AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES!!!
