Very nice little park in Boynton Beach. Often quiet which is very appealing to me. Nice, well-maintained dog park, one section for over 35 lbs. & one section for under 35 lbs. Nice little playground area for young kids. Ample parking.

This is a wonderful park that combines two things I love, nature and history. At 5.6 acres this park is quite large and has many wonderful amenities. In 2008 and 2009 the park received 1.5 million dollars of improvements, paid for in part by a grant from the Florida Department of Environmental Education. The land for the park was purchased from the Florida Inland Navigation District. This park has been named the Jaycee Park for about a half century even thought the last local Jaycees chapter closed in 1999.

The front section of the park has the improvements made in 2008 which include two children's play areas, one for younger children and one for older, with slides, swings, and climbing structures, shaded by a large ficus tree. There are also two bocce ball courts, sheltered picnic tables, restroom and a walking path. Along the paved path is the Boynton Beach Maritime Heritage Trail which tells you about the history of Boynton Beach, the early settlers, sport fishing, the Boynton Beach inlet, and more. There also signs throughout the park about nurturing nature.

The eastern edge of the park has a mangrove nature preserve. Mangroves are important to the environment because hey clean the water and they provide a protective nursery for sea life to spawn. In 2009 a 300 foot boardwalk was added to the park overlooking the Intracoastal for fishing and nature observation. Manatees have been spotted here. It also provides a front row seat for the annual holiday boat parade. To the north of the boardwalk is a small ramp where you can launch a canoe, kayak, or paddle board.

I loved reading all of the signs in the park relating to history and nature. There were also several beautiful public art pieces to view as well. This park is a wonderful spot to take the kids to play, picnic, fish, and enjoy the beauty of nature. It is easy to see why this park is such a beloved destination in Boynton Beach.

Nice small park for a little walk. Great for kids, for a quick bite or just sit and relax. 2 bocce courts as well.

Nice shady waterfront park with nice walking paths and a dock for fishing. Also just added 2 separate dog parks for various sized dogs with 2 washing stations. They are brand new and extremely nice. Bocce ball courts and a couple playgrounds for kids;

This park is a new fav. It's fenced in, has bathrooms, and a beautiful field to play in. Bonus: they have trees to climb.

The playground is a good size but is clearly aged by the sun. Great seating with perfect views of the kids as they play. Shade from trees. A few picnic tables. Bathroom nearby. And a concrete trail that leads to a decent fishing area. Kids loved it. Plan to return.

I found a new park to walk dog, play and exercise. They have a dock that you can go fishing but no bench, don’t forget to bring your own chair and it’s a lot of bugs and mosquitoes. They have playground 🛝 for kids but restroom is locked 🙅🏻‍♀ that’s not good.

Jaycee park is a great place. There's something for everyone. There's fishing, trails to walk and run, playground for the kids to play, a large field to do anything at all (we fly kites), and exercise equipment around the trail for anyone who like to work out or take breaks and change it up while walking or running. The whole place is just an amazing place to go no matter who you are or what you want to do. And it is all spaced out enough for those of us who want to social distance. I usually take my 4 kids to visit this park at least 3-4x a week.

Nice hidden park with a cool history of Boynton Beach. Cool pier for fishing or boat watching on the intracoastal and a place to launch a canoe or kayak. Big fenced in playground is great for kids to play and adults to feel safe letting them run wild.

Great park for kids! It has different playgrounds for different ages. It has a small wall trail that tells you about Boynton Beach fishing since the 1900's. It has wetland reserves and you can see many different types of birds. It also has a small pier that you can see the canal. And they have a canoe/kayak trail for people that want to go kayaking. The pier itself is fenced, so it's kids safe! It was awesome! We enjoyed it very much.

Lovely park with a large playground for the kids. A walking path circles the park and ex tends out to the waters edge giving you a nice view of the boats taking advantage of the beautiful weather. There is also a Bocci court and restrooms. Great place for a picnic!

Great park for exercising, walking, has wooden bridge access to intercostal view. Children can read informational boards on native plants. Enclosed play ground and large picnic tables. Oh bathrooms too. You can find a shady place to put down a blanket and enjoy.🙂

Have been coming to this park for over 10 years. Love the fenced play area and huge multipurpose green space. Kids love to go out to the intracoastal boardwalk and wave at boats, look for crabs, etc.

First visit. Looking for a park to walk in as part of physical therapy. It is perfect. Mostly shaded, restrooms available. Bbq grills and tables if that's your thing. Unexpected boardwalk at back of park takes you over the intracoastal waterway. Cool breezes coming off the water. Large green space and playground if you have young children. We return again this week!
