I visited Craig at Blackthorn Estate Buyers twice; SOLD there twice too! I did my homework. After getting some jewelry quotes from Boca Raton International Jewelers Exchange (and a few local business on Federal Highway), I found myself going back to Craig. He is knowledgeable, to the point and honest. Doesn't waste his time, nor mine. I've sold Mikimoto, Tiffany, David Yurman and other high end brand names here. Jeff, Mark and Frank work with Craig too. Great guys! Don't be mislead by the casual atmosphere ... I've gotten the best quotes from Craig. IF ... Dispite some reviews i decided to come to blackthorn i called first spoke with the owner He was very honest even on the phone with the expectations I had he explained alot and still invited me so he can take a better look . Once i arrived a man opened the door for me and from the back room i was asked to come back . Even though he was with another customer who had alot of things he still gave me time and looked over the 2 items i had . He offered a very fair price and i thought his honesty and demeanor deserved my business now and in the future . I was pretty shocked to see a bad review sometimes I believe that people don't want to hear the truth about certain items however if they're so priceless to an individual, then it's never worth selling them but honestly you can't take to heart when the treasure is in the eye of the beholder . Craig was exceptionally nice, open, and honest with us. His offer was much more fair than one I got from another local jeweler, who under-graded my stone substantially and offered me scrap pricing for my items.

We drove 40 miles and as we got there an employee told us his boss was out of town
