Chattanooga Valley Walking Track -CVNazarene

Quiet park next to the Nazarene Church.

Great and peaceful place to get much needed exercise. Do wish weeds by Creek were cut. Nice place.

This is a lovely little walking track in the valley. One lap is approximately a quarter of a mile. The little creek that runs thru it has some small fish that won't bite a hook. In the summer it's nice to wade in but watch out for snakes. The merry-go-round is about 75 years old and it's real heavy and needs to be greased but you can still spin it fast enough that little kids will fall off. The slide is metal and in the summer sun it gets hot enough to burn you. The monkey bars used to be complete, but a drunk driver ran off the road and crashed into them. Great trees and good vistas. If you bring a dog please clean up after it, no one likes to step in dog poop

I didn't walk today but I have walked here many times. The parking area needs some attention.
