Luetta Moore Park

The park has been remodeled since the Google pictures were taken and the ballfield is now a playground. This is a much better use of the space and will benefit more kids. (History: the railroad once came down MLKJ Drive and curved around this location and to the northwest, but that was many years ago)

Great playground with lots of different slides and climbing equipment. There's a field to play ball in and swings. Ample parking, a couple covered picnic table areas and there's a pool and splash pad in the summer for a small fee.

Went to a beautiful baby shower here today. The building is very modern and nicely decorated. It has a great kitchen and bathrooms. There were about 60-70 people in attendance. The room looked as of it could handle a100 people easily. Plenty of parking was available and easily accessible by the handicapped. I wish that I could have taken more pictures, but it was so crowded and I did not want to violate people's privacy!

Enjoying the newly renovation of the park. The basketball courts are great. My daughter can practice on the well made surface and the goals are solid. Also usually it's not crowded and has enough goals that she can move freely.

Update: Overall the park is still great, but they do need to do a bit of maintenance. One of the swings I mentioned in my previous review is completely missing, and a couple of the regular swings are starting to look a bit rough. But some west and tear is expected. Hopefully the swing is missing because it's being repaired. Still definitely worth a visit.

The updates they added to the park are amazing. The playground is huge, the swings are awesome, and the pool looks great. (We haven't been swimming yet.) I especially like the swings they added that have a space for a parent to sit across from their little one and swing together. I've never seen swings like that before, and we absolutely loved using them.

Really nice facilities. Pool with kids water park. Big play set for kids. Picnic tables and grills. Public bathrooms. Clean and packed with folks.

This park is great! It seems to be designed for older children though, so my 3 year old had a tough time on some of the things here, but there was still enough for her to do for a little while. The pool and splash pad look nice as well, though we haven't gone in yet. Everything seems to be in great condition and it looks like this park was built pretty recently. Overall my daughter and I had a great time here!

Very clean and my son and husband and I had a blast. Plus they have a pool and splash pad. It's only 3 dollars per person to swim for the whole day!!!! Great price. And it's safe. They had life guards and life vests if u left urs!!!!

This is a hidden gem! There is so much to do here, from the immaculate playground, zip line, handicapped accessible swings, rope course, basketball and volleyball court, to the splash pad and pool! It has never been overcrowded and is our go-to playground in statesboro. It's a big hit with the kids! It is worth checking out, I promise!

Kids greatly enjoyed the playground equipment . Bathroom facilities were clean. One of our favorite playgrounds .

The court is well lit and clean. There are multiple rims to allow multiple games. There is no wait time. There is a play scape area for the younger kids that's not interested in basketball.

The recent improvements of the parks in Bulloch have not gone unnoticed! I think this one was the greatest turnaround.

Still looks good months later. Cant wait til the summer water area opens!

I took my son there in the afternoon to coach him and do extra work for basketball. They renovated the whole park this year with pool new baseball field new courts and playground for the littles. Great place

Very clean, family friendly Park. We enjoy sitting at the picnic tables to have lunch when we are in the area. Such a nice neighborhood park!

Always good to see the community development for the Statesboro city greater good! The youth deserve it. I grew up in this park under a different name at that time in the 90s.
