Rock City’s Cafe 7

Absolutely loved this place, it was breathtakingly beautiful. There is a trail you follow so you don't miss anything. This was probably my favorite part of the vacation.

Amazing food and beautiful view. Service was wonderful. Shrimp and grits were remarkable! Loved them. Fried tomato BLT was good and so was fried chicken from kids meal. Cubanbbq sandwich was great!

This is a must do if visiting Rock City. You can’t beat the view and the food was great! Highly recommend the Arnold Palmer with Vodka, fried green tomatoes, and the BBQ sandwich. We had such a wonderful lunch here and our waitress was great!

The food was absolutely delicious and the views were gorgeous and the service was wonderful! Salem had a great time and we loved every part of it. We loved the homemade chips and dip. A great little stop halfway through our adventure :-)

All sorts of hot chocolate options! They offer a 20% military discount. We had hot chocolate. The lines were long because of the large crowds on a pretty night watching Christmas lights. The staff was very friendly and hard working.

The food here was amazing. We got the chicken sandwich which was so tender and packed with flavor, and the shrimp and grits. They also have a black berry, cherry, and ginger ale drink that is so refreshing. The wait staff is courteous and quick. Definitely stop in to check them out.

This was so refreshing, Hike for like 45 min, then BOOM a cafe on top of a mountain. Seat relax and have some beers while breezing and trying to see the 6 states while buzzed.

We love Rock City and always have to stop off for cocktails at Cafe 7. The service is exceptional. Lori at the bar is amazing. What a wonderful bartender she is!❤

I give this place five stars. The food was good but I have to give it to the people who were serving us they kali and Andrew where very kind and attentive. My daughter got stung by a yellow jacket and they gave her a a free lemonade and sting relief to ease her pain they were so kind!! Make sure to stop by and get some delicious pizza!!

Friendly staff. Great beer selection! Drinks were well made! Very convenient - located right next to the Lookout Mountain viewing area. Be sure to stop over for a cold one while taking in the view!

Second time here, as a season pass holder I will try to be here a lot more. Doing my physical rehabbing here for my knee. Its a great reward to the walk which is pretty hard on me. First time I had a bloody, that was in may, this last time I had a Treehorn Cider both were great and will work my way through things here as I come. Staff was very nice, we did get rushed out this time by the storm, but still a great time.
Edit and part two.
Came back with my niece, nothing on the barside was open on a Sunday. We had a chili cheese dog, a slice of pizza and a watermelon slush which was great. Filled the hole in my stomach and kept us going till we got home. A little confusion back there with the young adults trying to put it together but it was ok overall.

Food is great!!! Your can enjoy good food with a mind blowing view!!! Happy his cafe is on the edge of cliff!!! Price is litter bit high but worth it!!!

Definitely a great place to dine. The menu is limited but well conceived. The sweet home alabama chicken burger was good. The croissant chicken salad sandwich was excellent and I never thought I would enjoy such a simple sandwich as much as I did. The flavor and texture profile were outstanding. The presentation on the fried tomato was brilliant. This is not a simple grill at a tourist attraction. It is a proper restaurant with a creative chef.

Compliments to the chef. This joint is definitely Triple D worthy (I have visited quite a few of those all around the states). Good quality restaurant with a great view. I would pay the rock garden entrance fee just to eat here. It's worth it.

We love you cafe 7! We are annual pass holders and we love to enjoy a meal or a drink at cafe 7. Love the gluten free options, please keep them around! The 11-4 hours on the weekend are a huge bummer, I know likely due to staffing but I think you’re missing a lot of possible income in the dinner crowd.

Wow! Great service, very reasonable prices, amazing view, and the food is delicious. We loved everything about our lunch. Also, I especially appreciated how accommodating they were in providing gluten free options. Go tour Rock City and eat at Cafe 7. You will love it.

Beautiful view, and the food was fabulous! I had the shrimp and grits and they were delicious. They paired well with the Chattanooga brewed Oktoberfest beer as well. Definitely plan on eating here when you visit Rock City!

Okay, here's the scoop, we came up to see the pretty rocks and good views while visiting the Lookout Mountain area. We had pre-planned to eat lunch AFTER our stop in Rock City, presuming cheap pizza and sad chicken tenders like most tourist destinations serve. I cannot overstate how truly impressed we were with lunch at Cafe 7. The cocktails were unique (fall-themed) and the food was outstanding and some of the best we've eaten in the Chatanooga area. The chef is HAND-ROLLING pasta and making everything from scratch. Oh, and the view of seven states is for sure cool too. We were honestly just blown away by a kitchen hand making everything in a destination like this one. Great service, lovely views, and KILLER squash ravioli.
