We had an issue with our Vacasa home, so we called the national Vacasa number. They didn't understand the urgency of the situation (a major water leak), so we called this location. They immediately dispatched somebody, and Ron arrived to save the day. He advocated for us and got us moved to a very nice home. We had a great vacation. Thank you Vacasa and thank you Ron!

I just returned from a trip to Park City where we were booked to stay in a Vacasa property. There was an issue with the property at check-in, but we were helped by Mr. West as soon as we called. He spent at least an hour on the phone looking into alternative lodging options and was able to find us a perfect alternate place, that we checked into that same evening. The situation went from dire to supurb because of his excellent service.

I rented Blue Water Haven at Bear Lake. Vacasa, the home and the team exceeded my expectations. Definitely would rent again.

Vacasa deer valley is TRASH. Do not stay at any of their rentals 🙏. Learn from our mistakes - so many things wrong.

My Response to Vacasa's cancellation notice below:
Thank you for the cancellation notice. The feelings are mutual. My property performance has grown significantly since I took control. As you may know, Vacasa's performance was terrible last year. Last summer my property was vacant for three months during the Summer and barely booked for the fall. I contacted Vacassa multiple times to properly price my property. They said they did all they could do and lowered the prices to match the market rate and still couldn't increase the performance. Your company has been more concerned about collecting a management fee on all the properties instead of maximizing the performance of each individual property. Your company puts Vacasa first and individual clients last. How else was I able to increase my booking performance but your company couldn't? I warned your company in an email and stated what is the difference between hiring your company vs doing it myself. They had no response.

This letter serves as written notice of termination between Vacasa (Turnkey) and Rental Solutions Inc., Stephen Ostler at 1176 W Wintercress Trail as you are in violation of the contract agreement.

The owner exclusively authorizes TurnKey to act as vacation rental property manager on behalf of the Owner and provide services for the marketing, care, management, and occupancy of the Unit to the public for rent (and no other rental manager or agent).

We have fully blocked your calendar beginning today, Friday, July 28, 2023 so that additional reservations cannot be booked. All Vacasa supplies have been removed from the home. The Schlage smartlock has been removed a replaced with the deadbolt that was stored in the Sclage Smartlock box.

As others have already said, this place deserves 0 stars. If you are thinking about using them as property management, you should know how they treat customers. Accidentally left keys and wallet at a property. Let them know right away after we realized a couple hours after we left. We talked to them 5 times within a 24 hour period. Each time, they said they would contact the local person and get back to us within an hour. They never got back to us. After getting law enforcement involved, they finally transferred us to the local person on the sixth try. He was super nice and helpful and told us no one had even tried to contact him. Unbelievably horrible customer service. A terrible review will go on airbnb through no fault of the owner except they contracted this company to be the property manager.

Renters beware!

I recently booked a rental through Airbnb for a home managed by vacasa. The stay was fine - no issues. Then a couple weeks after our stay we get a damage reimbursement request for $1200 for a nightstand that had some marks on the top surface. Unfortunately we did not document the state of the furniture upon our arrival, so I have no evidence that the damage existed prior to our arrival. It’s my word agains the person who cleaned the house. It’s also a bit outrageous that they requested so much for a nightstand. The furniture in the house was fine, but not what I’d call high quality. I will NEVER rent a vacasa managed property again. This has been a nightmare. I have rented through Airbnb dozens of times with ZERO issues until vacasa came into the picture. My recommendation would be to avoid them altogether - as I definitely will going forward. If you do rent through them, document EVERYTHING with pictures as soon as you step foot in the house.

Get ready to have no electricity, hot water, a/c, or great customer service when using Vacasa! Thanks for ruining my trip, stealing my money and denying the full refund you promised me! Frauds.

If you want rude employees, Vacasa is for you. As a renter and an owner, I will never use Vacasa.

I checked into park city and had problems. No support from vacasa. Key fob missing. Kitchen problems. No help. You call Central America for help.
