Tokyo Japanese Restaurant

First time I ate at this restaurant I was invited to sit down at a table inadvertedly crashing a double birthday celebration with a family of complete and total strangers. Since that time I have sat down at this restaurant and I have enjoyed multiple Teppanyaki meals as well as bowls of ramen. Throughout all of my experiences it has been a jovial and upbeat location the kitchen staff and servers were always a positive to the experience and so long as it isn't busy they're willing to take their time and even sometimes sit down and chat with me, time and work provided of course.

A great place for a business meeting, a intimate date, or a entertaining night out with the family. The choices of ingredients, dishes, and drinks are superb. The servers are very friendly and helpful in decision making for pickier people. The front displays as a hidden gem but the interior is a vastly more vibrant and authentic experience waiting for you. I'd recommend having a reservation for weekend nights. Honestly blown away by the egg drop soup and house salad appetizers.

It's a nice place to go in and enjoy some food from a different culture. The food was really good. Service was amazing as the lady that served us got information for us on the food if we had any and made sure we were good.

I had a great time with friends and amazing food to boot! Chad was our Chef on the table - He was very skilled with the table and can tell he genuinely enjoys his craft which is what made the food that much better to me. Nate was our Waiter and was not short on appropriate attention to the table needs. I'll be back!

Hibachi was perfectly prepared, entertaining, and just a great time. Staff were attentive, but not overbearing. A perfect dinner for our special occasion. Shrimp, steak teriyaki, and portobello steak are all yummy.

Was recommended by a friend to try this place out and they definitely did not disappoint! I've been to plenty of places like this and Tokyo is the best so far! The waitress were so kind, and the cooks were amazballs!! I had a blast, and would definitely recommend to any of my friends!

Friendly accommodating staff, and a knowledgeable entertaining chef, made this a delightfully memorable experience. Everyone's food was delicious and precisely prepared. The first timers were impressed with the experience, and were even coaxed to try the calamari.

Filet mignon and shrimp was totally amazing! The steak was tender and melted in my mouth!

This place was simple and cute all the way from the exterior to the fish kite banners on the wall to the privacy cloths hung in between each room. As for food, I can only speak for the ramen this time, but both the spicy shoyu and tonkatsu shio were delicious. The noodles were perfectly chewy and able to grab the thicc soup. The seasoned egg was delightful and creamy. The char siu seemed to be braised and then charred on the top. It melted so nicely in the mouth! Both broths tasted similar, but the spicy one was reminiscent of almost (just the tiniest bit) a curry broth because it was so thick, creamy and spicy. Overall, we would definitely come again for the ramen. Plus, they seem to have a great cocktail/special drink selection as well as sake and beer. So glad we stopped by before returning to Menomonie!

This place has done a fantastic job making their yummy food available both for carryout and dine-in options. Staff is kind & acommodating, and talented on the hibachi grill. The shrimp and steak options are amazingly delicious! They even make homemade soup and all dipping sauces - Definitely a family favorite!

Loved every second food was fanominal and the tea was wonderful. The staff supper friendly. The cooks out of this world.

Amazing food! Some of the best meats I've ever had.
I had a great time here and enjoyed the experience. The staff were all very friendly and lovely to chat to. And the food was phenomenal. The prices were really great for what you get as well! Definitely stopping here again when I'm in the area.

I've been coast to coast, and I've only ever had one ramen establishment that rivaled this.

Excellent dinner at The Tokyo. Steak and shrimp were delicious. Chef Brett was fun to talk with. Very enjoyable date night time!

Best restaurant in EC. I moved away now but I go when I can. I also recommend checking out their lunch wed-fri 11:30 to 2.

Fantastic food at an affordable price. The kind staff and fantastic drink selection made me truly feel at home with my dining experience. Looking forward to eating here for many years to come
