Vintage Italian Pizza

Best Thin Crust pizza ever! We enjoyed our Howdy Pizon pizza so very much that we ordered another for takeout. Was very happy that they were willing to make it as a take and bake style. The Italian sausage was wonderful! Best tasting sausage I have ever had. Ordered a couple of pounds to go. Also got some marinara sauce to go. Look forward to returning whenever we are in the area.

VIP is the staple here in the Twin Ports if you want great pizza or great Italian dishes! Yeah, I know the great debate between VIP and Sammy's but VIP is where it's at! I'll always choose VIP between the 2! I cannot count how many times I've been here and left completely satisfied. It would be foolish to go anywhere else! Let's put it this way, good old Sammy's didn't make it. They thought their pizza was good enough to make a 2nd comeback and they're gone again! If you want authentic, homemade pizza and Italian cuisine, VIP is the place to be! Go check it out and see for yourself! You'll be coming back for more!

Our first visit...Service was great! Our waitress was very nice! The pizza was some of the best pizza I've ever had! I would highly recommend this place!!! This evening, my husband and I ate here for a second time. We ordered a large half vintage house and half taco pizza. Mrs. Mary was very nice and the pizza was amazing!!

This place has really, really good food. The hallway to the back area is super cool. Staff was super friendly.

The Full House has been our favorite for many years. I got one on cauliflower crust, and it was excellent. My only disappointment is that the Duluth locations closed at the end of 2023, and now I have to drive a lot further for my VIP fix.

The food was really good and we enjoyed our time here. Lots of options for pizza toppings, and the lunch pasta portion was large!

House special pizza was really tasty. The spaghetti Bolognese was ok. There was no meat in the Bolognese sauce, it was served with meatballs instead. Serving was generous and the meatballs were delicious. We did take out and the Caesar salad was missing from the spaghetti Bolognese. Was not happy about that.

Love this place! A large menu full of tasty treats! For thin crust, classic pizza, this is the best place in the Twin Ports. But when you add in the calories, desserts and the great beer selection this becomes an easy 5-star rated restaurant for me!

Great pizza place with friendly staff! Tried the spaghetti and meatball pizza with was pretty good!

VIP used to be across the street in a small space and it was awesome there. Tons of cheese on their pizza and great quality toppings. Now it's in a much bigger spot and just as good. Whenever I am back to see my family, I always make it for at least one meal! Keep it up!

So sorry to see the Duluth, MN locations go! 8(

Best PIZZA in the Twin Ports - bar none!

Stopped by for a late lunch today at my wife's behest. It has been about 10 years since my last visit. We were not disappointed! The sausage and pepperoni pizza we had was outstanding. The sauce is spiced just right, well balanced with the thin crust and chewy cheese. The service was friendly and we got a quick history lesson from bartender Barry. Nice to know the eighty-something year old owner still has a hand in the business.

One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. A real large place if you want to hold an event.

I always just order pizza to go and although I'm sure any and all pizzas available here are delicious my all time hands down favorite is their taco pizza!!!

WOW!! Yes!!god bles this fine pizza establishment!!🙏🏼 I had the caprese salad 🥗 and let me tell ya it’s soooo mmmmm scrumptious!!! And the taco 🌮 pizza was just great I felt like I was in Italy 🇮🇹 and when I took a bite, I was in Mexico 🇲🇽 my taste buds & emotions was all over the place!! And I look up and see mother Teresa and she brought me back to reality that I was on planet earth and how grateful I am to be experiencing this physical realm created by GOD!🙏🏼 some days it just takes a good meal to be soo grateful for your existences in this realm of reality!!!
